@simon True, I factored that into my numbers and I still thought she would be 1.5... I know mentally she's not the strongest on the tour but I cannot see 1.72
Azarenka struggled recently, she was shocking on serve it was her trademark returning of serve where she well - in set one.

@ryan-carruthers I think the market must be thinking that Kvitova will maybe tank with the Australian open final so fresh in the memory. That’s the only reason I can see her being such a big price.

Kvitova v Azarenka
The value here for me is on Kvitova, I have her a lot lot lower than this price that BF are giving us (1.72) she leads the H2H and is seeded high in this one. As always with Azarenka though you have to be careful as she is a bloody good returner of the ball and she can return serve as well as anybody. I will let them have a serve if they both hold then I will back Kvitova - exit will be towards the end of the set, will let the first set run out if Kvitova is steamrolling Azarenka.

Hsieh (BF 1.63) v Niculescu (BF 1.54)
Both of these players are very tricky players to play against and I have been looking forward to seeing them play against each other to be fair, I have gone through the stats and plugged the numbers into y system and I have Hsieh as value here, a fair bit as well.
How will I play it?
Let them both have a serve if they both hold I will back Hsieh I want to see her playing well though in the first set she is a tricky player so I want to see her outfoxing her opponent and not being too clever, she’s athletic as well so want to see her doing well in that regard and using her serve to push Niculescu into tough positions and hit on the volley.

@dave-jessop same!! Novak was unreal, the thing with Nadal in that game was really weird it was like a rabbit in headlights didn't seem to have the confidence to go for his shots so he kept getting caught in between and that is not where you want to be when playing Novak on that form.

@simon copy. I've never seen Osaka show so much emotion as she did in the 2nd set, have you?

@simon they certainly have. new to the trading caper but you can see why women's tennis is a hotbed for it.
