Another really decent day scalping, small loss on the value picks. So good to have tennis back in a good time zone (well for me anyway!).

2 I think look too short today are Felix Auger-Aliassime and Wawrinka. I still make both favourite against Londero and Cecchinato respectively, but I really don’t think they should be as short as they are. I definitely wouldn’t be happy backing them at that price.
An interesting one for me today is Coric vs Munar. I think this one could be tight so will try scalping this one if Coric goes a break up.

Managed to get out the Londero trade for a very small red (-0.17pt). Very pleased with this result as FAA looked the better player. I exited when Londero broke back to make it 4-5, but didn't trust him to hold again so took the small loss. This feels like a victory as was staring over a 1pt loss down the barrel at one point during that set.

@Simon When you (& others on here) refer to 1pt loss, etc. is that 1% of your bank?

    Ryan’s Odds  1.37 3.71

Player Notes  Potential, has loads of talent this lad Natural clay court player
      Big serve Heavy hitter
      Clever player Attacking player
Great from the baseline Mentally not the strongest
How Would I trade it?  Shapovalov is the value player for me here, he has loads of talent and has some good form recently, I think with his serve and talent he will do well here, I will let them have a serve each and if they both hold I will back Shapovalov. Watch for Shapovalov he is an attacking server.

He made this first set a little bit tough didn't he but we got there in the end.

@simon one I use is to lay a server if he is a double break up in ATP in the first set, so say 5-2 or 5-1, their price is usually assuming they win set so if they get broken or go 0-30, 15-40 you may get a few essentially risk free ticks. weaker servers are great for this!

Has anyone got any scalping methods they use to trade tennis? All my trading is reliant on a brake of serve, so been trying out some more scalpy methods recently.
My first one is to look for games I expect to be tight, then lay the favourite when they go a break up and look for 30-40% ROI on the trade.
In the same games if there is a TB and someone goes 3-0 up I’ll lay them and green/red out after the next point. I’ve noticed a huge over reaction on the market at 3-0 in TB’s. The risk reward ratio on this trade is excellent.

@col You can add them to your filters, so just create a filter with them all on and then export it matey

Hi Ryan I gave this a crack and I can seem to get the right numbers for about 75% of the matches. For the other 25%, the numbers seem to duplicate player 2 with player 1 values. Any idea why this would happen? It would make sense if all the numbers were wrong but seems some are right but others aren't?
