Update!!! This did not go to plan, the game he lost his serve 0-15, then 0-30 looked as though he was going to drop serve here. Out I got for a loss. ATP Montpellier 2020
 15.00
Bedene v PospisilI like this match up, on odds they are both quiet closely matched on price but I have Bedene as the fav here and by a fair bit lower than the current price. It does come with some warnings though…. Bedene is a player who is very clever, he knows how to return the ball as well as a natural counter puncher which makes him tough to play against - he is also very athletic. The player he will face today has a massive serve, who likes to attack so this could lead for a nice match up. How will I play it? I will let them both have a serve, if they both hold then I will look to back Bedene, I am wanting to see him handle the serve of Pospisil though and frustrate him. I will trade out at the end of the set if Bedene wins it, if Bedene is not countering and hitting the ball heavy around the court then I will get out.

@james-woodroffe Thanks for the reply. It's good reassurrance for me. Can anyone advise on Tournaments coming up? I am already missing the shenanigans in Melbourne. I see a few of the Spanish lads have already flown out to Argentina for an ATP tournament today.

@rob-arkell sorry mate, I was working on the final today so haven’t been able to post anything. I usually close after the break of serve or if I think the momentum is with the player I’m on I try and hang out till the end of the set but it depends on how I’m seeing the match I backed Thiem tonight after the 1st set at 4.90 I think it was and closed when he took the break in the 3rd. I couldn’t keep trading cause I was busy but I locked in my green and just enjoyed the match. I backed him for the simple reason being I thought he was a huge show to cause the upset.

I think Thiem still has some fight in him. Worth a cheeky lay at 1.11

think Novak has given up on this set. I expect him to come out firing in the fourth

@martin-futter said in 2019 Tennis Trading Thread: @rob-arkell could happen, Djok lost concentration I had a very low stake on the lay at the end of the first set.

Yep. I'm waiting for a good time on this one

@rob-arkell Yep then move on usually, occasionally I will stay in longer if he or she is totally gone then I'll ride it a bit longer but has to be linked to what I am seeing.

@james-woodroffe said in 2019 Tennis Trading Thread: @ryan-carruthers especially in the WTA mate. Do you cash out as soon as there is a break in serve?

@james-woodroffe Oh yes That is the gift that keeps giving. That is the gift that keeps giving.

But gonna wait to see how it starts out

@ryan-carruthers especially in the WTA mate.

@james-woodroffe I don’t think there is anything in trading as powerful as a lay of the first set winner.
