@simon-miller no idea mate. After greening up on cricket, I'm trading while sat on a Riverside terrace bar in the south of Portugal, sipping some nice white wine, lol.
Probably not the best environment for trading but I'm just punting 20-50p on crazy low odds while I'm out.
Sorry, just gloating now. -
Little lay on Bertens at 1.05

I can’t take a trick today. Couldn’t get matched when Swiatek had 0-40 to get back on serve for 1-1 couldn’t get matched at 1-1 and then all value just dropped away.
Are you using trading software?
I'm toying with the idea. Didn't feel the need before but missed a few quick trading opportunities recently. It looks complicated to me though. I like the simplicity of Betfair

when trading does everyone keep there stake / liability the same? Also do people have daily targets and once there are met they stop trading?
Yes to the first question as far as my backs go. Yes to a degree when I’m laying as I don’t lay above 1.30. Trying real hard on the last question.

I started with targets but the problem was that if I had couple of losing trades, then I was chasing profits on events that I didn't want to trade on to hit target. And then if you hit target early then you miss out on good trades that you'd usually go for.
Now I just look at the sporting calendar and trade on the things I like, regardless of how I've been doing.
I sometimes walk away for a bit if having a bad day -

anisimova the young american had a good end to the year, so could be a tricky one if svitolina is not on form.
Yep. It's tempting but I think I'll take Ryan's advice and watch first 2 games before entering the market.

@james-woodroffe From your chat with @Ryan-Carruthers .
I suppose it all depends on price pre-match and what value it means to you.
I fancied Sakkari in that one too and was tempted to back but I knew nothing of her opponent so held back.
I might go in pre-match with Svitolina for that reason but I know she's not been in the best of form -
Been a good day forme so far between cricket and tennis. So happy to throw a quid against Novak at 1.02

Update
Sakkari v Goerges
Great for me to be able to wait for them both to have a serve, another example of why its great to wait - Goerges dropped her serve!
I’m the opposite to you mate. With Sakkari breaking, all the value rapidly vanished as she raced away with it. I’m thinking now that if my player receives first I’ll enter from the outset.
I’m only thinking that because if she breaks and the other player breaks straight back then we are back to where we started. However if my player breaks and then holds I guess I can green up with minimum fuss and move on. I guess it’s a case if they’re up 2-0 is it worth it. -
