Both players here look like they have a good return, I expect to see a few more breaks of serve
-
@shaun-halse It's worth listening to the commentary as well. They are all ex pros in the box and know a helluva lot more than me about the game
-
@shaun-halse For me personally mate. It's all about watching the match and seeing how the players are hitting their lines. Any top player can have an off day and any lower ranked player can have a blinder
-
@james-woodroffe if the player you layed serves second there seems to be constant times to get out with profit after they hold serve and steal a couple of points

With regards to the favourite in the match do you go off world ranking or the odds that they are in the market? Is there more value in backing a favourite WRT world ranking but underdog in the market. The martic match is an example of this.
Martic is 15 in the rankings compared to kontaveit 24. Yet Martic is the underdog probably due to last match form? Just wondered how people take this into account when choosing trades?World ranking can be misleading. Some top players may miss the odd tournament and drop down the rankings
-
Think Martic is well priced at 2.58.

Lay 1st set winner. Ive noticed the dynamics are different depending on who serves first in the game.
Anyone wait to enter depending on if the player you layed serves or notNo I haven’t mate but there’s definitely something in it. Are you saying to enter there?

@james-woodroffe I am assessing the whole time, a lot of the time in the case like this one where it is slightly tighter until there is a break - I will usually take the profit after the break if its later in the set as well at 5-2 the market usually is pretty much of the conclusion the set is over and for me the risk v reward of waiting compared to taking the profit is not worth waiting. My thought is, my player just broke serve price is good now and its 5-2 lovely.....
Hope that helps matey
Cheers mate.

Yeah I got to keep reminding myself that long term a few quid here and there adds up. Why I stopped few months back as I was staking higher and higher.
One thing I've always never got around to what to stake on lay or back if it's should be same or more on certain odds if that makes sense.
I use this sometimes... https://www.goalprofits.com/hedging-calculator/ Gives me an idea of potential profits/losses

We all on small stakes whilst we get our heads around the ins and outs. Which is cool. We are also out there helping each other out which is even cooler.
Haha! True dat! It'd be a lonely existence without this forum. None of my mates can get their heads around what I'm doing. I'm always asked "How can you have 1.5 goals in a match?"

After the lay of Muggy, was able to still back Brady at 3.00 when she had triple break point late in the set. Held for her next service game and closed out at end of second set. Happy days.

I have racing traders but don't use it. Most of time only get to trade with my phone.. big moment now need the set for a nice cash out i.e 5 pound
£5 a day is £1800 roughly over a year mate.
I'm on similar small stakes. If I can get consistency over the course of a couple of months then I'll raise the stakes

I fancy her to hold serve in the next for a bigger cash out
But don't take my word for it. I have a habit of jynxing these things
