WTA Dubai 3pm
Halep v Rybakina
Looking through this one I have it priced up much closer than the market has it, I actually have Rybakina as slight fave in the 1.9 area so still close - which when I can back her at over 3.0 make this value for me.
Halep can be a beast, her movement and ground strokes are insanely good, she's smart and she's also very good in the big matches.
Rybakina is very clever with a big serve, this serve will need to be on fire today, her opponent can return as well on anybody on serve so if Halep is not returning unto her usual standard it could get interesting.
How will I play it?
Let them both have a serve, if they both hold and Rybakina is looking solid on serve - I will back her.

looking forward to the wta Dubai final. Rybakina has been amazing recently. I know Halep is quality but tempted for an early lay at 1.45.
Like Ryan suggests, I'll wait to see how they both serve first 2 games before getting involved -

I explained above what and why I take the risk out at 5-2 instead of holding out for one more game.
Halep - Another nice trade for me, both players held serve and then I got out for a nice profit at 5-3.

Pretty happy with how today went from the tennis front. Went in on the first two matches in Dubai and was able to take profit from both. The first match from backing Rybakina and the 2nd match from laying Muguruza after the first set. I didn’t get involved in the last two but I reckon the Halep match would have been a ripper. Back Sabalenka take the green lay her in the 2nd and watch Halep fly for more green. Got some more as mentioned earlier in the Medvedev match but didn’t get on my biggest planned trade for the day as AA routed Hughes- Herbert in the first set 6-0. Hope we all had a green day and those of you who got on the last 2 matches in Dubai saw green screens.

Backed Medvedev after he dropped the first set at 2.04 no point laying Sinner as he was about 1.97. Medvedev up a break in the second set.

Hey mate, I’ll have an eye on the men’s match in Marseille tonight between Felix Auger Alliasime and Piere Hughes Herbert. Think there’s good value in AA as the dog. Will wait till they both serve and back AA. Match scheduled to start around 6pm I think.
thanks James. I won on this guy yesterday Felix Auger Alliasime after he lost the first set and won the 2nd one. He was favourite yesterday so it was a typical lay the underdog trade.

Backed Martic at 3, traded out now. The lay isn't low enough for me. I'll lay if Martic holds serve in next game and price is right.

Each game here so far has been hotly contested. Going to enter after next break I think. If there is one

With regards to the favourite in the match do you go off world ranking or the odds that they are in the market? Is there more value in backing a favourite WRT world ranking but underdog in the market. The martic match is an example of this.
Martic is 15 in the rankings compared to kontaveit 24. Yet Martic is the underdog probably due to last match form? Just wondered how people take this into account when choosing trades?Martic has a pretty poor record against the other good players mate where as Konteveit has had a good start to the year if that helps.
