@james-woodroffe Still WFH and that's not going to change any time soon have to see what I can get away with during the week. Might be some trading going on!
-
@chris-osborne yeah mate taking it relatively easy today with small profits as concentration tough with the family needing stuff also. Will step it up more tomorrow when I can focus properly.

Happy days and greened up now with Sinner up a set and 5-0 and Blinkova tying it up at 1 set all.
Nice - Got my break in the Bouzkova and Kanepi game - only small profits but all helps

@chris-osborne I got involved in the Blinkova match mate cause as an Aussie I know Sharma isn’t that good. The Mrs is putting me to work later so I gotta take my opportunities today whilst I can
Nice one you have to take all the information you can get.
Leicester playing MAn City this afternoon so in a similar position for different reasons

Oh god, she breaks back then the girl says “ahhh let’s just have a lazy Sunday”
-
@james-woodroffe I noticed that one but made the mistake in the US Open of trading too many games at once so sticking to the trading plan
Nice start on Sinner game looks like it could be a long one with 5 breaks in the first set already
-
Have laid Astra Sharma at 1.56 after taking first set against Blinkova.
-
@james-woodroffe the conditions arent going to be ideal so hopefully we get some nice upsets
-
@chris-osborne little harsh on Coco mate I thought she was ok in Rome and played well against Muguruza and is a big show today against Konta. You’re right tho nothing really stands out as far as tough for the top seeds more a case of looking to see who starts slowly and goes behind a set. Let’s make it a green fortnight
-
@john-hurst yeah mate all Grand Slams are best of 5 any thing else best of 3.
-
are the mens matches still best of 5 sets?

@ryan-carruthers I really need to take a good look at the tennis stats on BTC mate. To be honest I kinda forget about them which is stupid because it’s part of the service that I’m not utilising. Thanks for the early morning reminder.
Funny you should say that, spent most of the morning going throught the stats on today's WTA games.
Most of the games should be straigt forward for the seeds unless they lose the 1st set in which case might be worth getting involved or using Ryan's 3-3/4-4 strategy although there are a few of games that could be interesting: -
Konta v Gauff - aside from a Semi final run each prior to the US Open which is not relevant both been in awful form post lockdown. For me will go one of two ways either Konta will win easily or could be a close three set game. If Gauff wins the 1st set or Konta wins it but its close will be looking to lay 1st set winner.
Lockdown not done anyone any good but I think its temporarily set Gauff back when she should be pushing on this year. I also think she needs a crowd behind her.
Bouzkova v Kanepi
Sasnovich v Friedsam
Scmeidlova v V Williams
Kontaveit v GarciaAre the other games I'll be looking to potentially lay 1st set winner

@james-woodroffe Yes, the forecast on the stats give Sinner a good chance too, BPS & BPC higher than Goffin too.

Morning gang,
start of the French open today and here’s to it being green.
I’m going to back Italian teen Jannick Sinner this morning against 10th seed David Goffin. Goffin will start favourite but I’ve been really impressed by what I’ve seen of Sinner and the other emerging Italians. I wouldn’t be surprised if Sinner wins this match or if Goffin does he’s in for a fight. Also Sinner’s first win over a top 10 player was against DG so he will take that confidence. -
@chris-osborne looks like an error

Just having a bit of a play around with the Tennis Stats with the Medvedev and Humbert match. Not trading it as I think Medvedev will win easily
If you look at the Serve/Return TAB in set 3, Humbert who is player 2 is showing as having not won a Return Game in set 3: -
I don't trade Set 3 as a rule currently but assuming there was value there, which is unlikely would this be an opportunity to back Medvedev, what other stats would you look at to confirm this observation?
