@finn-kristensen hey mate apologies I only just saw this. I’ve never heard of Tig which may be why Vecic is so short. Could be one to keep an eye on and see if Tig starts well.
-
@james-woodroffe Any thoughts about the Vekic v Tig game? The odds for Vekic seem to be on the low side. I know she's the favorite for a good reason but 1.27 strikes me as a bit too low?

@daniel-cooper I've not really looked to much into the odds just looked for a filter with players who rarely win in straight sets
Ah really? Thats really good to know. I will be papertrading and monitoring

I reckon Bonaventura could be great value today at 3.90 against Cornet in the ladies singles. Bonaventura was impressive against Zang in the first round after dropping the opening set. Cornet at 1.32?? I reckon she could be in for a scrap today and especially if she does take that opening set that 1.32 should shorten.
Marton Fucsovics could be worth a back at 2.40 also against Grigor Dimitrov. Dimitrov struggled in the opening round where as Fucsovic is one of those guys who doesn’t really get much respect unless you’ve seen a bit of him I think he provides great value as I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he were to win.Hi James
I hope you are well! Its been a while, don't see you in the football forum much
The matches you've mentioned above - do you use a filter at all or tend to identify opportunites based on your own knowledge and experience?

@martin-futter I’m working for ESPN. It’s good to be back at work finally but messing with my trading as I don’t get time to get involved.
W&S Open last week was ok bit more chilled this week not so much. -

@daniel-cooper no but I need to get my lay first set winner strategy added to the member filters! I'll get @adam-williams to do that today
This would be useful thanks @martin-futter, I am leaning towards focussing more on tennis as my main sport to trade at the moment although many more strange games as yesterday may make me think twice - Pliskova, Rybakina etc
worth testing, it's been added now
Intentionally just the one criteria, and then make your own judgment based on how close the odds are at the start?

@Martin-Futter does your Lay First Set Winner differ at all with doubles games?
-
@finn-kristensen try overall I guess @Ryan-Carruthers can the players be split?
-
I have a question reg the Tennis software - if I want to see the winrate for both players in my filter, how do I do that? For instance, I have this filter (which in itself should select all matches):
I basically want to see the number of wins for both players involved for the last 10 matches played etc., but all 3 filters seem to only show the data for the first player?

This was exactly the strat that caught my attention the most, especially in the odds come in far enough for a lay at 1.3/1.4! Do you find this is often the case in evenly matched games?
If there would be a filter for it that would be something indeed!

The two beginner level strats on the dashboard for tennis are relatively easy to follow! Do you send out a daily email for tennis matches at all? @Martin-Futter
-
@james-woodroffe what work are you doing atm?
-
I’ve concluded that trading the tennis whilst working on it is kinda pointless just no time to concentrate. Home on Tuesday so hoping the 2nd week provides some good opportunities.
