Hey Trader!
On behalf of the whole team we are so please that you are here.
Now it's time to say HELLO
We want to know more about you and what makes you tick.
Simply start a new thread like 'New Member - Ryan Carruthers From Lincoln' Then tell us:
- Who you are?
- Where you are from?

- What's your background?
- Why did you join BTC?
- What do you hope to get from the community?

Don't be afraid to share the nitty gritty, the more we share the more value we can create.
We want every individual to feel like they are joining a family, so let me also take this time to say that the main rule we have here at BTC is that no question is a daft one - the reason why is we know trading is confusing we have all been there, we don't want you to feel lost, scared or confused at any time. So you can now ask away
We would really appreciate it as you are now part of the family if you would say hi to some of the other new members, just look in the introduce yourself section and say hi.

@Martin Yes please mate, I don’t know why I put my wife’s email address on there. I tried to change username this morning but for whatever reason wasn’t accepting my password. The payments are going through her account but when setting it up I should have put my own email in as the payment email.
It’s okay if you want to be ‘Pete’ some days and ‘Michelle’ on other days! We non-judgmental here

Hi my name is Pete. I’m from Pembrokeshire West Wales, but live in North Wales now with my wife. I’ve been tennis trading for just over a year now and want to add football to my sports trading list. I joined BTC for this reason and also because I’ve seen lots of good trading opportunities here by looking at YouTube posts. I’m primarily going to trade tennis as I have been doing for the last year while getting to grips with the footie trading here. I’m already in a good tennis community at tradeshark for the tennis and know there is also a great community here too. So I hope to learn a lot more from you more experienced traders and brainstorm together to create more profitable trades. My trading goal is to make a consistent part time income which I can build up over time. I like trail running and fitness which I feel helps me in my trading by keeping disciplined. Great to meet all of you and happy trading

Roughies always win in a small field
hang on you need to translate this for me
'Roughies always win in a small field' never heard that phrase before!
-
@Martin I am loving it I am purposely taking it slow and trying to get myself as trained up as possible.
But my mindset is definitely changing if I hear a statement in live sport ("Roughies always win in a small field") now I'm straight away thinking if that's true I could trade that haha. -
@Jonathan-McDaid great stuff I know we have chatted a bit on other threads, how are you finding it?

Hello Fellow Traders,
My name is Jonathan from Sydney Australia, I am a novice Betfair trader but an ok gambler with no discipline.
My work Background is construction management and I joined BTC (again) because I have had strategies that might be good but ill discipline probably hasn't given them a chance and I get banned from bookmakers.
I joined BTC years ago before the software and loved it but being Australia based I couldnt really put the work in that I wanted to learn but looking at the site now the focus is really training based and mentality based.
I hope to be able to gain a solid second income from trading but the thought of full time trading scares me a bit so at this time I'll be happy with just paying off bills and paying for the unnecessary wants like holidays and toys (I have many lol) If full time trading is something obtainable in the future I'll consider it. -

Where did you learn about Betfair trading in general first?
Hey Ryan,
I cant actually remember where I heard about it first, but have been using bet fair for many years, mostly for betting, but then to try and bet and cash out, so kind of of trading but through guess work of my own basic knowledge
