A brutal couple of days; I even bottled it and traded out of the Besiktas game for a small loss as I was convinced they would equalise and draw.

Oh Jesus. Sorry to hear that, Eamonn.

If it's any consolation (I doubt it, but this is true) it seems to be a rule of the universe that increasing the stakes always leads to a losing day. I think that has happened to us all.

yeah its sods law. I used to up my stakes once I hit a certain target but decided to hold off and only increase or decrease my stakes at start of month.
    It will come back around

Even when you realise that a strategy like this will throw up oddities like four 2-2 draws, it still feels like a kick to the kidneys. Just have to treat it like a process. It isn't personal; there is no karmic retribution/divine punishment. It's just 22 human beings kicking a ball around. You'll get nonsense like this.

just when i upped my stake this happened too lol

    April 4th

Putting these up now as I have to get up early to go to Mass and confession tomorrow (shout out to John Folan):

    Sagamihara Albirex Niigata (J2) 2-2
    Newcastle Tottenham 2-2
    Tambov CSKA Moskva 1-2
    Kasimpasa Besiktas 1-0

    -4.14 pts

F*****g four f*****g 2-2 scores over the last two f*****g days. Fk the fk off. Oh, and f**k off.

I'm never going to Mass again. Ever.

For balance, I never imagined Kasimpasa would hold on to a 1-0 against Besiktas.

Purely on 2 or less, I have about 29 pts from 12th Jan.

In fact, I'm going to change the head post to remove the 2.2s.

I’ve not stepped back to review my spreadsheet like this yet, but have you found the 2.2’s to be underperforming?

Keeping to strictly under 2.0 makes the filtering nice and easy 😝

Yep, they have stagnated. I've been keeping to the under 2s purely for simplicity.

It's Russia; anything can happen. Tambov has "personnel problems" according to Izvestiya.

Interesting one in Tambov, I placed my trade last night, the odds were high even then, but over night their odds have come in so so so far that my cash out value is over half a point already. I’m thinking I’m going to cash out for the guaranteed profit on this one. Although I’m sure it won’t draw and that Moscow will crush, I’ll kick myself if it doesn’t go that way as the liability is so high

Remove the ones 2 to 2.2. I think that is where it has gone pear-shaped for you.

Thanks, will stick strictly to odds of 2 then and see how that goes πŸ‘

I fear I am doing something wrong here. I have been tracking this since 12th Jan. I run th efilter first thing in the morning and go with whatever comes up at that time.

    to date:
    LTD 0.66pts green
    Double chance 1.41pts green.

Does this seem about right? If not then I am sure it is me and not anything else πŸ˜† I tend to mess good things up πŸ˜‰

Not in April. Look at the monthly breakdowns I posted some time ago. April is "normally" a good month.

With winter leagues starting to draw to a close over the next month or so and motivation of a number of teams reducing, does this have much of an impact?
