@daniel-cooper That’s a champions league game so it doesn’t apply, I don’t think. But your point on motivation applies and in any situation that a draw suits both sides then you could be forgiven for giving it a miss altogether (this may apply to some europa league games as it’s a cup format and also some end of season games)
Thank you Lee, to explain why I posted this, its because I got my CHAMPIONS league and EUROPA league momentarily mixed up! doh! Thanks for pointing this out

Sorry to ask, but despite trying my hand at this trading malarky, my knowledge of league formats and such isn't great! Hence - on the basis of odds, Dortmund vs Man City qualifies tomorrow currently, but does either team need more than one goal to win, and how does that affect motivation for this match? Would anyone else apply this strategy to that game, or not, and whats your thinking? Cheers in advance

@chris-osborne
Thanks, Chris. This may well work on the bigger leagues, but as you point out, many games are in the lower prestige leagues.
Honestly, it's easier to look through flashscore.

Due to the vagaries of the software, I now just look on flashscore and see which of the leagues are playing. You can see the odds on there as well.
Betfair is a bit of a pain in the arse in that you have to sift through the Nepalese third division games etc to find the leagues you want.
If you add a minimum matched value into the betfair software you'll get rid of alot of the pointless leagues although there is also the risk of some of the leagues we want to cover not yet having the liquidity available especially if setting a few hours before Kick off
Don't know if you can do this on other exchanges however

Ahhh fantastic, I should have asked my question more directly but you hit the nail on the head - I found that too, you have to search really closely! I will use Flashscore for this too, its already my go to scores app. Cheers!
