@stuart-capstick thanks for the tip, I’d never really looked at it this way or considered this! Hopefully our Lithuania cluster has passed! 🤣

Just checked my sheet, I think we might have missed Hegelmann Litauen vs FK Panevezys today... good thing as it ended 0-0 lol

Daniel makes the point about data demons in another post. In Lithuania, which has been very profitable up to this week, there have been three draws in a row.

Another example of clustering. Events happen in clusters. Good results and bad results come together; they don't spread out evenly.

If you've followed this thread, you'll have seen some...tantrums...from me as a result of 2-2 scorelines. 2-2 is a rare scoreline, but there is nothing particularly unusual about getting a few in a short series of games.

If you are in this for the long haul (which you should be), you'll see a lot of clustering. What I'm trying to do these days is spot the "good" clusters. It's an idea I had ages ago, but I'll have a little more time in the weeks ahead.

Agreed; that's why I'm only looking at Stockport.

Barnet vs Sutton also, same story as Altrincham, but mentioning it anyway for those data demons among hs

@stuart-capstick That might not have been a great result...However, I made it worse by LTD on the wrong Yokohama game and they drew 😂 😂 😢

Ahhh we’ve all done this before! Especially on the bloody Yokohamas! I lined up my LTD on the wrong Yokohama game the day before, same game as you, but spotted it the following day!!! Unlucky buddy

Sorry to hear that. If it's any consolation, I think everyone has laid/backed the wrong team at some point.

Maybe the Imp has jumped ship and is sat on Mark's shoulder now...
