Kayerispor Alanyaspor 1-1
Antalyaspor Besiktas 1-1
Dijon Lyon 0-1
Burnley Man City 0-2-4.09 pts today.
Salient points:
Two draws from Turkey on the same day is rare; in fact, today there were 4 draws from 5 games in Turkey. I'm no expert, but I imagine that's unusual.
Both draws involved games with red cards.
Dijon, for once, didn't ruin things by drawing at home. -

To be honest, no, the protest isn't working. There are enough die-hards to ensure that the ground is full every week. Additionally, I doubt Ashley gives a flying one.
I haven't really attended regularly since I was a kid. Was out of the country for my twenties. I also fell out of love with the club after the treatment of Bobby Robson.
I've probably attended more matches than you over the last few seasons!!
Quite a lot of Newcastle supporters here in Belfast
Makes a change from IRA supporters. Found out recently my uncle (now deceased) was involved in that lot at one point. .
Half Irish-Half English. Catholic and of Jewish and French descent. Proper mixed bag I am.
Heโs a Liverpool fan. One of those ones who lives in the same city. Liverpool is a 10 minute drive from Belfast

Newcastle fans in Belfast?
I did see a Toon Army flag in Rovaniemi the other summer. Rovaniemi is basically the last big town in Northern Finland, so that was a surprise.

I don't ever go now- protest against Ashley.
I'll ask around, though.
I'm sure, however, I could get you a VIP stool for a Sunderland game
Not really fond of kiddie fiddler clubs!
Your protest, is it working? And what do you do with the season ticket money? Back home our season tickets are only ยฃ160. I didn't buy one this season because I didn't think we'd get to see many matches. (My brother bought one and so far has been to two 0-0 matches!!). I did however spend that money in the souvenir shop

@Stuart-Capstick can you get me tickets to a Newcastle match?! My Sister-in-law lives in Durham. I'm normally over once or twice per year.

There's no sense of hijacking at all.
Even if you'd praised Rangers to high heaven, it would have been fine.
However, don't anyone dare praise Sunderland....;)
I have first hand experience of their owner.
What a c**k! I've rewritten this a couple of times as well as I started with something much stronger haha

Disclaimer: Celtic are my second British team, I love Glasgow, went to university there and have family connections to the NW of Scotland. But, at the moment, things aren't going so well for the Bhoys.
Legend its been a disaster of a season hasnt it. For me i feel that unfortunately the success lennon had the first time round was when we had no competition and didnt play this style of football. We played way more direct and arrogantly. Now we try to adopt the same approach all the big teams play and i dont think lennon enjoys that style. We got spoilt with rodgers who had a philosophy and an identity your seeing that shine with leicester now. I mean the guy almost won liverpool a title. The club got so used to playing like that and the games against city showed we could do well at it. Just didnt get the backing he needed money wise to build on that season. Lennon got sacked by bolton and shoved out of hibs in between managing us. Its a shame because he is and always will be a club legend, just needs to go now before it gets uglier. We have suffered this year because we didnt improve the team only bought filler players. Rangers on the other hand improved well with clever transfers. Thats sickening for me to admit btw. I think tho that the fact rangers are good again is good for scottish football. If we can get 2 teams back in champs league every year (we get that next year now) and get better coefficient we can start to attract decent players again. Celtic are the feeder to the premier league as we buy and sell them on. Van djik, wanyama, armstrong, tierney etc, would be nice to be able to build on that. Already sold frimpong and i expect edouard wont stay. Its just how we use that money and id want a new manager to get that instead of lennon.

Nah, Turkey is really good for 90+goals
More likely that Celtic will cause some buttock discomfort.

@gary-tunnicliffe
Great player, intelligent man. Yep, one of the few ex-players who you could see becoming a good manager.
-
@stuart-capstick which was inevitable with stevie g at the helm

The only thing worse than Rangers winning the title would be for Sunderland to do well. Although, for them that would mean winning a match or two in League 1......
Fair to say that all is not well at Parkhead these days.
