Panthers @ Falcons
Falcons have the 3rd highest rated offence and also the 4th rated D - wow! They are a team very well equipped to take their chances but they haven’t seemed to so far! The Panthers need a lot of things to fall into place for their play off seedings to have a huge effect so for me I am not sure they will be 100% up for this one (They need Saints and Vikings to lose - is that going to happen? I can’t see it!).
When these two last met, Cam was devastating on the ground, they will need to limit Cam on the run today, this for me will be the key to this game…. if the Falcons can stop the run they will do very well here - the Falcons seem to love kicking a FG as well on 4th down when the fire power they have they should go for it, especially with Bryant missing a few FGs but the kickers will be important on this one and I would rather Bryant in my team than the Panthers Gano!
I’ll be looking to back the Falcons after the Panthers score in this one and watching it very closely.
could be an old fashioned shoot out here!

@richard-latimer I agree with you on the TE situation, for me as well usually a QB can wait till the later rounds of the draft (I know I took Brady early this year though) Thank you buddy!
-
Think I learnt quite a bit.
Important to draft a tight end quite high up as only a few are any good and most total dog shite haha!
More emphasis on running backs than wide receivers?
Dez bryant is a total waste of space on your roster and you may as well have no one!!! -

Week 16 Sky Sports Games
Falcons @ Saints
These teams met a couple of weeks ago and there was a total point score of 37, this is a cracking game for the defences today there is some incredible players on both teams D today. The Falcons secondary is loaded with players which rank highly in their position giving excellent deep coverage and the saints have a great pairing at CB which will be tough to play against today!
This is before we even start on the QB’s!! Drew Brees and Matt Ryan, two absolute legends at QB with some weapons to hit as well, Julio Jones among just one of the pro bowl worthy players in this game.
For me I think this is a game to trade on the Under 52. I will hopefully be out by the first quarter, Falcons averaging 6.9 points on offence away in the first quarter and the Saints rocking up 9 points on average in the first quarter - both teams are strong defensively so I expect this to be a tight affair.
-
@martin-futter I agree, especially when they could of got a QB in as well, some decent ones out there.
It will be a huge off season for them! Looking forward to sitting down though after it and speaking with you about what we think about the upcoming season!
-
@ryan-carruthers I have a soft a lot for Packers as a second team as I really like that they are fan owned. That said the idea not to get a QB when Rodgers went down was ridiculous, they would still be in the race with a half decent veteran. The D needs serious work and they need to get involved more in free agency.
-
@j-williams Packers for me are a team that needs rebuilding, you've relied on Rodgers getting you through for a couple of years now they need to pick up some players for other positions now and I worry that they don't have the draft picks or the salary cap, especially if they have to pay big on free agents!
-
@martin-futter agreed, packers game later on looks much more tasty, GB playing for some divisional pride now that Rodgers is back, although their wildcard hopes are all but gone after last week

But there's Saturday night football instead, at a much more respectable time
