A thoroughly horrific April on the overs but it is over and here's the final tally:

Plan going forward is more caution, less gung ho.

Afternoon Richard , i hope you are well?
Do you not stop trading leagues that are coming to an end or have you found that makes no difference with your results ?

I definitely haven't found enough correlation in that.

Everyone has their own way of trading, i have for the last 6months not touched matches where there is 5 or less games to play in the season. I made a big loss the end of the summer leagues.
Does take ages going through my filters to see if matches meet my criteria, now at that funny time of the year when there are only a couple of winter leagues that have 5 or more matches to go and not enough data on the summer leagues ( min of 8 games) , although South Korea and some of the south american leagues have some matches. A few weeks until the Scandinavian leagues i can start trading

Here's the update for away lays:

    fb260420-c3f4-414b-b04e-adb4915f7d61-image.png

Now I know to some it must seem like a car crash which is going nowhere fast but I really believe in it as a whole. I said there will be ups and downs but I need to be less gung ho which I really am going to try and do.

Doubtful I'll take Kashiwa as odds very low at the moment and way under the lowest price so far.
Albirex could yet end up pricing too high but it's a possible.

    DEFINITIVE: Will take 4.4-6.0

Overs in a sorry sorry state for April. It's so hard when I look at what might have been but for a little more caution on some of the leagues where I was a little too over confident. I know what's possible and I also know the fine the margins and how fast it can fall apart.

Away Lays still going although I've managed to turn a £500 profit there into a small loss as things stand.

In spite of those 2 hefty losses I've really not lost much on the Away Lays this weekend either. The problem is righting the ship on the overs. I keep on making the same mistakes which boil down to neglect for want of a better word.

Currently April is heading for a small win on the away lays and a massive loss on the overs.

Spoke too soon. What a gut punch in Bolivia.

    Was all going so well.

I think it's time to tighten up on the away lays. Wouldn't have done much today but I could hyave easily missed Inter. Not the over. Roma should have had more than 1.

I just knew that AUS would provide another loss at those odds but did I stop myself. Did I eck as like.

I think also that just because a league hasn't provided me with any losing price points thus far I need to stop assuming they never will. They always do. Gimpo was easy to rule out as being almost the lowest odds qualifier. Sturm also easy to rule out as lowest odds qualifier.

On the away lays side it's hard to see myself avoiding Belgium today. Genk was a shock.

Feirense are under the cosh big time and odds low so did the unthinkable and traded out for small profit. Will leave this one out of my actual results but it will be tracked on the sheet.

Been a good day so far. Not trading Chilean game as odds have come in massively and it's comfortably the lowest odds qualifier in this league yet.

And let this please be the beginning of not only a nice run (been on those many times) but also renewed and improved discipline where the odds are concerned. Can't believe it is making this much of a difference but it is and I must fall inline or throw away all my hard work when things are at their most crucial.

Not completely a fresh start. The bank is what it is. Just trying to think of it that way so I don't keep making same mistakes on the peripheral selections.

    Lay Under 1.5
Ideally want 4.6+ for Sweden but may go as low as 4.3 (absolutely will not go lower even if there's 200 shots on target in the first 10 minutes. - Also no higher than 5.9 if it drifts)
    BEL No lower than 4.7
    NET No lower than 5.4
SPA No lower than 5.6 and no higher than 7.4

2/2 today. Belgium odds too low and ended 0-1.
