@john-folan can you open my sheet in dropbox?
-
@richard-latimer could probably do that then. I shall start to build the bot. It can be adjusted. What numbers are you looking for for each market?
Scratch that I just saw your post about when there’s a qualifier
-
@john-folan when I next have a qualifier I'll post up what I'm looking at and tag you so you can see.
-
@john-folan it collates ave book price so I always check in there to see what starting price was (ave) for over 0.5 Sh and home match odds.
This could be done to a point with Betfair starting price. Prob just adjust it up slightly.
-
@richard-latimer the odds portal thing might be a sticking point. Can you expand on that a bit?
-
@john-folan let me tell you exactly what I do then. Would help if you had access to my filter.
My filter spits out a bunch of raw info at the moment basically.
First I have to check to see that both team has layed 4 league games. Not bothered on home/away, it's just a fitness issue.
Then I check neither team was promoted or relegated if season not 20 games old for one or both teams.
If home were relegated that's fine. Promoted horns unless the away team were also promoted. if away were promoted that's fine, relegated not so unless the the home team were also relegated.
Once I have the actual potentials it's a question of check each at HT against both stats criteria and also ave book price of over 0.5 SH and ave book price of match odds which I get from oddsportal.com.
Some scorelines like 2-0, 1-1 and as I like to call it, BOR (best of the rest - the crazy ones) are less odds orientated. 0-0, 0-1, 1-0, 2-1 all rely on the odds from odds portal to retain such a high strike rate.

@john-folan interesting. Sounds like you can do alot.
I love it. I've got horse bots, dog bots and a couple of experimental football ones. I use it for Ryans split stake as well. It is pretty versatile and the support is normally pretty good. Also if you ask for a feature and they think its useful, they do try and add them in a future update

@john-folan cool.
Literally the only thing that will make it difficult is how my criteria looks at both overs prices and match odds for different scorelines.
So are easy. You know what scorelines they will qualify with way ahead of time.
Others are hovering on the edge until kick off.
Yep I can incorporate that. Look at one market or another to decide whether to enter

That's pre-match prices

@john-folan I'm thinking down the line really as can't afford any trading software at the moment but are there any bots that allow for odds dependent variable staking?
I can set up a Maria type system on BFBOT without too much trouble. I’d just need to make sure it didn’t get involved if a goal was scored after half time but before 60 minutes. Should be simple enough.

@martin Bfbotmanager which I love
do you use Bet Angel alongside?
No I use geeks for scalping and lay to backs. Much simpler. Bet Angels automation is way too complicated for what is needed so I didn’t see the point in paying for something I wasn’t using. You can get free geeks trials everywhere so worth a look.

@john-folan which bot are you using at the moment, something I need to look into more! Are you with Bet Angel as well?

As an experiment I just checked to see what the results were like if waiting until 60 mins for a goal.
It's 426/473 for just over 90% s/r
Which by my calculations make it around half as much profit but of course I would be staking more for a little less liability because the odds would normally fall into a different range. It's pretty much the same I reckon, only entering at HT is easier than being on hand for the 60th. Perhaps in the future with a bot but this works for me right now.
To be fair if the liability is lower your losses should be lower. I’ll try and work up a bot for you over the next day or two to test it out?

Nothing tomorrow.
Will add my normal £5.00 for the week so new bank for Fri is £181.63.
Profit so far in Oct is £37.00 so almost wiped out Sept losses and system firmly in the green at present from when I started in Aug.
Revised stakes for next trade...
Have once again moved out of the minimum zone for the most part and hoping not to go back there this time.
