Aug 2024 £3000 - ? Bank Challenge

@richard-latimer said in Betfair Premium Charge Challenge - Total Deposits £194.42 - Current Bank £204.21 (+£42.94 for Oct):
Following a chat with Darri I've decided to highlight the total investments in my monthly update on thread title. This is in aid of transparency as there's no way I'm looking to deceive anyone, least of all potentially vulnerable newbies looking to make a quick buck.
I've been putting mostly £5.00 a week since the beginning of August so I'm not quite sure how the deposits have amounted to what they have in that space of time. Nevertheless I track my monthly profit and the figures don't lie.
August wasn't bad with almost £30 gained
Sept saw a real road bump for which I made several attempts at future safeguarding. Finished over £40 loss
Oct was bumpy but came good for over £40 profit
Nov has started very well despite a lack of fixtures (this not in title update yet)From that the overall profit for Aug-Oct was £26.38. I know the bank so deposits are undeniable.
I will ensure each monthly update includes the full picture from now on and I intend on having a bloody good update to share on Dec 1st haha!
Error for Aug corrected. Only £12.81 profit.
Since I made the necessary changes I'm only concerned about the latter half of October, beginning of Nov and from here on in.
I checked it all on the betfair statement so this is 100% correct now.

@richard-latimer nothing to feel bad about at all mate, green is green showing the bank deposits alongside profits just keeps the overall performance of a strategy in check for new readers or for those thinking of following along. At the end of the day if you have something profitable then eventually youll start to outgrow those deposits similar to that of how people dollar cost average into a stock market. Its just a good thing to show how much is deposits when showing a bank rise like this and where it coming from. If you had made over 300% from something in less than a few months youd be very interested, but when most of that is your own investment thats when you need to be careful and make sure its a good ROI, or if other ways are on offer with that amount of cash.

I see the A-league is back this Friday. It will be around 1 month until I consider it usable again so hopefully Mid Dec. Good as USA has now finished for the season.
-
Sunday update:
Sotra and Halden both outliers for now but more good data.

I dont want to jinx it for you Richard but it seems like its moving along in the right direction very well now, lets hope it keeps going like this
Thanks Matt

I normally like to put £5 in a week but didn't do it on Friday due to money be tighter than normal with f*****g isolation. Will go back to investing my normal amounts on Friday in time for the resumption of normal football.

@richard-latimer good work, just keep that discipline level up, you are doing well!

Sat update:
Cove is from Scotland an only just started collecting data again. Liquidity may be an issue but I'll find that out if the league has legs. No trade there.
Torquay and Portadown weere outliers so good for data that they won. Hopefully they will keep winning and become non outliers.
Taby also an outlier that won.
All in all, for the data, it was 7/7.

Hopefully get a few out of today. Loads of potentials in League One as well but need more data. Could be a good day for tracking:
-
Betfair really have something against Poland 2 this year. Got Poland 1 and Poland 3 ffs!!!
-
I didn't post the updates for last Sunday so with last night here they are:
Club Brugge was an outlier on the stats so no actual trade as things stand
Regionalliga North there is not eenough data available yet so those 2 for tracking only
Sparta Prague another outlier
Walldorf an outlierThe rest were traded. I was also able to see a way of tightening up although unfortunately this wafter drawing a blank in Stuttgart II. Last week a bit of a lame duck.
