Aug 2024 £3000 - ? Bank Challenge
-
So for anyone looking at the numbers:
To the left are lay odds
Next is my stake in £
Next numbers are equivalent back odds so 3.05 to lay is 1.49 to back
Next is the big one. Liability on each bet
Then score, Win or Lose, followed by p/l net of commission
Finally my total bank amount -
Great start to the weekend.
-
All home lays. Estoril odds probably too high but we'll see.
-
Today's loss quite unexpected. All the stats were not just good but VERY good. Only slight concern is Belgium as a league but that's one of the big reliable European leagues and I'm not about to drop it anytime soon.
-
@Richard-Latimer Wow that a big chunk of your bankroll or am I misunderstanding the process.
-
@nick Nope, as you can see from my updates the staking and liabilities are quite high now.
I'm up to a £72.00 stake for odds 3.5 or under which is £170 odd liability.
Higher odds are in variable stakes but still up to just under £300 for the really high ones.
-
@Richard-Latimer Am I right in believing this is from £10 bets Richard and what time frame are you talking about?
-
This for tonight, laying Cercle Brugge
-
£425.00 profit so far.
-
Interesting Thread Richard
What is the £3000 bank standing at now then? Looks like you are having some success with this.
-
The good run comes to an end but you can't win em all.
Zurich smashed 4-1 in what was an even contest up until late in the 2nd half.

-
Ends 0-0

What I'm finding more and more is the amounts I'm laying are bothering me less and less. I know i'm not going to lose the bank. It's just a question of making the large sums I require.
In addition to this, what I have also found is that keeping the notifications on actually makes me less stressed than that heart in mouth moment checking scores after a game.
I think that when you get the score alert 1 of 3 things happen.
-
it goes with you and gives you that little bit more more peace. Yes it could turn but for now it's going with you and that's a good start.
-
it starts badly, but then you know this means nothing just yet. How often will the stronger team equalise. Of course they will. And until the game starts heading to it's conclusion this thought will linger.
-
it starts horrifically, there's almost certainly no way back and you can resign yourself to the fact this one is a large L in the books.
When I don't know either way I'm probably stressing how they are all losing even though this is highly improbable.

Almost forgot. Laying FC Wil in Swiss Challenge League - Starts in 10 mins

A much happier Saturday and Sunday.
One today which I'll post later.
-
So, shaping up to be a pretty decent weekend. Let's hope Sunday manages to capitalise rather than undo.
