@ryan Yea I am a slight ectomorph, but not seriously so, I just have really long limbs lol Tough for types like us to put size on, takes a looooooong time. Have to eat a large amount of food, and for a sustained period of time I find that harder than under eating.
Was he the guy who was killed by a train? If he is the guy I am thinking of then he was in great shape, drugs obviously help
Just googled, yep, sad end to another life.
German vol is brutal!

@matt-wood I will give them a watch, for somebody who is an ectomorph I am so hooked on this world lol I've literally tried all types of training Westside for Skinny, German vol, crossfit, the lot fascinates me!
My idol was Greg Plitt! I met him at Bodypower a while back, great guy.

@ryan I think it was a body power event, may have had a different name back then, been to sooo many lol.
He did an excellent series of videos on his mounaindog youtube channel about his life story and how he got to the IFBB pro level. Really interesting, also such a humble guy too, never bigged himself up at all.

John Meadows
Guy was a beast!! Was this at body power you spoke with him?
-
Bit of a niche thing but in the Bodybuilding and Fitness Athlete world John Meadows passed away last night.
Legend in the industry and all round super nice guy, I had the pleasure of speaking to him very briefly a few years back. Type of guy everyone liked, you would have to go a long long way to find someone with a bad word about him.
Left behind a wife and two young boys
RIP John

Little update from the worlds strongest man.
Stoltman brothers going really well! Come on lads :scotland:
1 Tom Stoltman — United Kingdom 28.5
2 Brian Shaw — USA 23
3 Maxime Boudreault — Canada 18.5
4 Konstantine Janashia — Georgia 18
5 Luke Stoltman — United Kingdom 17
T6 JF Caron — Canada 13
T6 Adam Bishop — United Kingdom 13
T6 Eythor Ingolfsson Melsted — Iceland 13
9 Trey Mitchell — USA 12
10 Bobby Thompson — USA 9 -
Obviously all the focus is on the Euros at the moment but Id just like to throw some support and attention to the Stoltman brothers. Worlds strongest man starts tomorrow and big Tom Stoltman finish 2nd last year. Lets hope he can go one further this year.
Anyone who might be interested, they have a youtube channel, Ive been following for a few years, and its really very cool to see Tom in particular use the strongman training and lifestyle to help with his autism.
Lets have Stoltman 1 and 2 this year lads
