Hi Everyone. I hope I am posting this thread in the correct way.

A small village in Bedfordshire!What stage are you at in your trading journey?
I am just coming to the end of my 3rd week of amateur trading.What's your background?
I spent 2 and a half years working a large IT company, hated it, and have been working for a leading UK animals charity for the last 3 years.Why did you join BTC?
A colleague from work introduced me to the idea of Betfair trading. Apparently I already had a Betfair account of some description and due to some errors on the website Betfairs end, it took a month of escalations to finally create my own Betfair account. Having spoken to my colleague I was very excited to get started, so I spent that month watching Youtube videos and reading online forums. I naturally came across Ryans Youtube videos for the BTC and the beginner videos that were there. I also managed to speak to Ryan via email (and video response) on a few ocassions leading up to me joining the BTC, so it certainly seemed like a place I should atleast stop by and say hi!What do you hope to get from the community?
Help! Guidance perhaps. The stats software is certainly a draw, having only used adamchoi.co.uk since I started. Whilst my colleague is very helpful and has provided me with some strategies and guidelines to work to, things don't seem to be working out for me in these first 3 weeks. I am very new and I'm still learning, so am only using small stakes, but I'm hoping the BTC will provide an environment for me to get feedback and support in from more than one person, in the hopes I can become somewhat profitable.What are some of your trading goals?
- To enjoy myself - I might be in the negative in terms of profit but I have overall enjoyed the last 3 weeks.
- To supplement my charity salary.
- To meet likeminded people and maybe one day give back to someone who's new to trading like I am now.

Thanks for replying to me! Yes, very much a kid in a sweet shop, its been less than 24 hours and I’m already going “Ahhh he’s trading that, I’m going to copy him” or “Oooh I might try their strategy” haha!
Glad you have been finding BTC useful too! I’m excited to get involved and learn!

Thank you! Its been less than 24 hours and I have learned so much from all the videos, forum posts and stats software! Love the ELO system too, I’m familiar with ELO as a whole from online gaming but thats an awesome application for it!
The private coaching is something I am definitely interested in!

Have to say I joined about a month ago now. Best choice I ever made. I found this in much the same circumstances you did and have not looked back since.
I spent 6 mnths messing about on my own and whilst I did learn things I have learnt more in a month from being here. It seems like you have a good attitude to your approach. I have given myself 12mnths to learn and then hopefully profit will follow that.
Remember to keep calm as it will feel like you are a kid in a sweet shop at times on here
