Friday 20th August
Up and down day today. Possibly a bit of overtrading today. Weekends will be the hardest to stop doing that.
A red in the 2nd Half goal filter, 2 winners and 1 loser in my FHG, 1 loss in my strong fav and one loss in back another goal strategy.
Total for today was a 1.5 red.

Well you seems to be doing very well on those FHG and overall too. Less is more.
Im doing ok, got filters that I just track at the moment some of them going ok but I dont think I get the best from the software yet. Trouble is I have an idea and am not sure about the best way to make the filter work for it.
Keep making mistakes with trying to get below min stakes on BF and has cost me a few times. After a chat with Lee Woodman I decided to up my stakes slightly to stop this. Bank is building slowly though, started June 6th with 100 now around the 148 mark.
I think as I get more experienced in the industry and markets, my ideas will be better quality and hopefully provide better returns. Seems you have great ideas but that gambler has always got in the way in the past.
Thats good to hear, green is green.
Speak to Martin or Ryan regarding the best way to go about the filters.Hopefully you continue to grow that bank. Im trying to curb the gambler in me. Baby steps.

Well well well. It seems some Liverpool fans have a few brain cells
Seriously though, Eamonn last week or so on here has been super encouraging Especially since there have been very few games this week. I imagine in the past you may have 'gone looking' for something to trade.
You look like you are being properly considered in your choices of trades (shame about the choice of team to support) which is DEFF working for you bigtime.
A short word to the gambler in you:
Stick to your new routine it is going to pay off!
Just had a quick peak at your spreadsheet, that FHG filter throws up a lot of games, is it the same as the one Darri built or your own?
Keep this up
Yes I have often just looked for trades and then ended up losing money. I think now that I have a few filters to follow is a great help. The FHG is my own. It has a very high strike rate although Im only tracking the games that i trade, the filter throws up a lot more but the goals come too early for my entry.
I am still on the lookout for games to trade later on in the game which are not filter related. They are strong favourites that have started slowly or still drawing late in the game, i enter for good value.
Hope it continues, How are you getting on?

Keep us informed on how the FHG filter is working for you!
Yes mate, its just sticking to the plan and not just trading for the sake of it. My FHG is on my spreadsheet.

Thursday 20th August
An overnight set and forget on the FHG brought in some green with a 45th minute goal in Brazil to bring in 1 point.
A red in a FHG in Estonia bringing 1 point red.2 trades in the CPL cricket with one green and one red for .5 point red.
One trade in my strong favourite strategy Runavik were 1.40 and with 11 shots and 6 on target in the first half to Barry Towns 0 I entered at 1.7. Runavik went on to win 5-1 and bring up a .75 points green.
Small green today of just under .5 but thats now 6 green days in a row and no sign of a "bet".
One more potential in the Coleraine game this evening, other than that I'm out with
Nice one Eamonn! A good days work. Sounds like you and me may struggle with similar stuff - for every 3-4 good days trading and green I have a bad day of FOMO, over trading, random trading and not sticking to the plan!
Getting there though!

@eamonn-hogan Nicely done, how are you feeling when staking at the moment?
Calm. It’s good when I have a plan.

Wednesday 19th August
After a bit of thought I decided to change stake and plan for FHG. Although it was getting some great green, it was taking a lot of my time up watching the clock and getting my bets in especially when Im at work. I decided to change it from 0.5 points x4 to 1 entry of 1 point at 2.2. This way I can use it as a set and forget.
Quite a few of my selections for FHG came too early so only one was matched in the Niigata game in Japan. All the other selections were winners which gives me confidence that the filter is good. With nothing else on my filters for the rest of the day I seen value in backing a team (that was short odds at the start of the game) later on in the game if stats showed that they were on top. I done this last night with the Warsaw game and same again in the CFR Cluj game tonight. They were 1.16 at start of play and I got in at 1.5. This is now added to my strategies.
So all in all I had 2 trades today. 2 winners for a 1.75 points green.
-
@eamonn-hogan well done on switching off too when you felt any urge, that's much more important that the profit today, both is a big bonus though well done again!

Tuesday 18th August.
Late evening trade on the game in Paraguay which was on Darri's 2HG filter which brought in a .5 point green. Also had a FHG selection early morning in Mexico which I set up overnight and a goal in the 4th minute of injury time brought me in 5 points green.
Another FHG selection in Russia with a last minute goal in the sochi came brought in another 5 points green.
A FHG goal red in Finland cost me 1.5 points.Over 0.5 goals in Legia Warsaw game .5 points.
Came across a strategy in the BTC strategies of laying the team at 1.4 in the cricket, so have a bit of that going on in the CPL.
.5 point green in the cricket.Nothing else for today unless something looks good in the PSG V Leipzig game.
Total green today a fantastic 11.5 points and no thought of a "gamble"

Good day today. Had been patient as I seen others having different selections earlier. I didn't budge, waited my time. I had a 1 losing trade in the 2nd half goals filter in the Daejeon game earlier. Tonight I had a LCS in the Hafnarfjordur game and a LCS in the Inter game. Neither on my filters but felt the stats were good for a goal. Total green in 2/3 trades with a 1 point profit.
well done!
