    Thursday 10 september.

Discipline going really well. I have only had trades in the england game this week looking for lcs which was a one point red and I had 2 trades in the luxembourg game lcs for a 4 point green. Thats all I have done this week so far as nothing else was on my filter.

Have set up my spreadsheet to track results weekly now instead of daily as there have been quite a few non trading days.

Head is in a good place at the moment.

@eamonn-hogan Doing very well at the moment mate 👍 Nice and consistent 🙂

Do you have a filter for the strong fav system, I had been trying something like that but results so far are mixed. You look at away and home for the fav?

No filter mate. Just looking through the big games and looking for short priced favourites and shortlisting them.
I like to wait to get 40-50 ticks better off. I only enter if they are banging the door down.

    Sunday 6th September.

One trade last night on the England game. I had them shortlisted for my strong fav strat. They were 1.28 at KO, I entered the trade at 1.78. A very late goal brought up a 0.75 point green.

I had Spain on my shortlist today but they went ahead too early.

Only one trade today on the golf with a lay of Schauffele.

    Friday 4th September.

First trades of the month tonight.

I had shortlisted the Italy and Netherlands games for potentials in my strong fav strategy. Italy and Netherlands were 1.33 and 1.45 respectively.
Both teams were looking the better teams in their games and I felt were likely to score. At 0-0 at HT they became close to a trade. I Backed Italy at 1.8 and Netherlands at 2.2 one point each. Shortly after getting matched on the Italy game, Bosnia scored. I then rebacked for one point at 3.85. Once they equalised I took out the red and had a free bet on Italy. After 86 mins I decided to take what green I had which was .25 points, Netherlands scored and I took out the red for a one point profit.
Total green tonight from the 2 trades was a nice 1.25 points.

    Wednesday 2nd September.

I have not posted here for a few days, its been quiet
    trading wise.
After having no trades on the 28th I had one FHG trade which was a one point red, a winning trade in Darris 2HG and a winning trade in my strong fav strategy. A total loss of just under .5 points.

The 30th I had one trade in Darris 2HG and it was a red in the Malmo game. 2 red trades in FHG and one green trade in back another goal strategy, Total red of just over 2 points.

31st had one trade in FHG which was green for 1 point and I had a trade in my strong favourite strategy which brought up 3/4 of a point green. Total green 1 and 3/4.

Since I restarted on 18th August I have made 30 points green.

My FHG brought in quite a bit of green when I was doing the split stakes, I stopped doing the split stakes and just had one trade at odds of 2.2. Most of the games had a goal before this stage so were not matched. I think I will leave this strategy alone. I may well take it up again in the future but back at the split stakes.

I am going to concentrate now on Darris 2HG filter and my strong favourite strategy for a period of time until I am confident to start adding other strategies.

I have had no trades either yesterday or today and I feel quite good about that. Not so long ago I would have been on backing anything inplay whether it be table tennis or snail racing.

I hope going forward I can keep this new discipline going.

@eamonn-hogan I have also managed to avoid the mad random betting, for the large majority of cases! Makes the whole process a lot more zen!

    Thursday 27th August.

Have not been posting in the last couple of days as I was trading from my phone with a lack of games on my filters and did not want to get drawn into any trades just for the sake of it if I had of been sitting at my laptop.

There have been no selections in Darris 2HG filter but a couple in my FHG filter 3/5 in the last 3 days with a small green 3/4 of a point.

3/3 in my back another goal with 4 points green.
4/4 in my strong fav strategy where I see a short price fav take a while to score and if the inplays stats support that they are on top I enter for a far better price. This has brought up 2 points green in the last 2 days.

Head is still in a reasonable place, I would not say that I have got the better of it yet but there has been no mad bets lately.

Big thanks to the guys on here for so much support.

@eamonn-hogan just been looking at your sheets to see how hings are going. I noticed on a couple of them that your staking is different for alot of the games, so for example your fhgs vary in stake size and odds size, whats your approach for them? Be hard to track these if its varied so heavily. For example to fhgs are heavily in profit in relation to everything else and its based off of two trades the first 2 your recorded which are massive in comparison to the others. Just want to get a feel for how your coping with staking too, noticed that on one of the SHGs on the tab on my filter that there is a difference in staking with a few too? feel free to tell me to stop being nosey but just seeing if there more i can help with 👍

Definitely wont be telling you that you are nosey. Im delighted that you are looking at it and offering advice, really appreciate it.
FHG. I was split staking for the first few 4 x £1. I was finding it hard to get the stakes in while I was at work so I changed to a one time stake of £2 at odds of 2.2 approx.
Your 2HG I started at odds of 1.4 and after a couple changed to 1.55 to allow me to take 0.5 points green after commission.
    Does that seem ok?

    Morning Eamonn.

You been quiet last few days. Hope its just a break or a holiday 🙂 and not a relapse into bad habits.

If its a break or holiday, hope it was a good one and you had some time to consider the team you support and maybe you should change you thoughts about that 😉

    Catch you soon mate 👍

Hello mate, thanks for checking in, means a lot and it shows not all united supporters are bad lol.

I have still been trading and will stick up my behaviour in my diary shortly. I have been trading on my phone the last few days instead of the laptop as I only had a few selections and didnt want to be doing more than that.

    Thanks once again.

No probs 🙂 We are all here to help each other. Besides someone has to help the Liverpool fans out of their delusional ways 😉

Sensible idea using your phone when you only got a few selections to trade.

Keep on the good path 👍
