U used wine to do downlonading! What sort of witchcraft is this?!! I was always under the impression liquids did not mix well with electronics, as evidenced when my best mate poured his glass of baileys into his keyboard one New Years!
prob similar to when i spilt my Limoncello over my keyboard once.

Got a WhatsApp group with a couple of cousins, both pool fans and pretty much orgasm central day in day out. We are so amazing aren't we....everyone else is crap and we're the bollox.

@stuart-wallace Its a Virtual Private Server - basically you buy space on a server which you can then access your (in this case trading) software and in terms of reliability of connection and speed and space on your laptop/computer its elsewhere do it doesn't slow your machine down.. someone more techy will deliver a better version than me but thats the crux of it I think

@alan-steward Thanks Alan.. two reasons I'm looking (or three actually) one I tried to download fairbot using wine .. and even though I updated my Mac software I can't load it for some reason.. second is I want to do a bit of a deep dive into my entry points over the next week or two and from memory the soccer mystic thing may be quite useful to plot scenarios while I do that analysis (even if I just do a 14 day trial on Bet Angel) and the third is at the moment my time is split between south of France and Uk so having reliable decent speed would be good .I'm not very techy so expect daft questions re VPS set up

@mark-maguire You can use any trading software on VPS... I use Fairbot on Simply Hosting... I could run Fairbot on my PC but would need to leave it switched on 24/7... Therefore I use a VPS.

Does anyone on here use Betangel software with a VPS? Im using a Mac and have been looking at using fairbot but then saw you can do the bet angel thing on VPS..
