@alan-steward thanks, I have over traded a little this month and added in a few new strategies, one has done particularly well and two haven't. I have gone through the data and chosen my strategies to continue with. I will monitor the others.

Thanks for the advice on points I converted alot of my calculations and make a little more sense of what's working and what is not. I have lurked around the forum for well over a year and find great advice from many traders. I would like to give back, but only once I recouped what I have lost, in what I'm calling my learning period. Last four months out of five have been profitable and I'm hoping it continues.

@wayne-ironside no you haven't really misunderstood, 1pt should be 1 or 2% of your bank, was just trying to understand how you gained so many points profit in one month.

Obviously if your staking 2 or 3pts per bet at times the I guess that's how you're accelerating your growth.

As that's only a maximum of 3% of bank and you're comfortable with that then carry on.

I guess aggressive trading is easier whilst on lower stakes but then you can adjust that when trading £100. £250 or £500 stakes.

Keep up the good work 👍

After a very good month, all got abruptly brought down to earth with 3 horrific days. Oh well, plough on.

I agree mid way through the month was 41 PTS up now down to 14, Friday and Saturday were horrific for me, but Sunday was a recovery.

    41pts green in 1 month?

1pt is generally your liability... if you back for £10 its £10 per point if you're laying at say 3.0 you would lay £5 but be trading £10 point (obviously taking commission into the equation as well).

Is this how you calculate your point?

To be 41pts green in 1 month I'd assume its a volatile filter anyway or are you often 41pts green per month?

Maybe been doing it wrong, Have split my bankroll as 1% as 1pt, some of my filters I bet 2pts and one is 3pt. Maybe I have misunderstood.

Yeah so had a look getting what you are saying now. So you can cut my Pts balance in half so was 20pts green, an now only 8pts green, although my bankroll has increased by 14% as a points total it's around 8.

Thanks for your incite I have now altered how I am recording strategies and will help in understanding what is profitable and what is not.

Mad window this one looks like Ramsey off to rangers thought a prem team would of been after him

He’s always injured. Why do teams sign players that can’t keep fit?

I mean a 25% fit ramsey probably still the best player in that league and his wages are like 400k a week no idea how they pulling this off

This is always something that has baffled me, you can’t predict injuries but some players are just so injury prone that it can’t make sense!

If its any consolation my set & forget SHG filter had a mare at the weekend... From 7pts green to about 1pt red... Will go over all trades tonight and double check.

I guess its a combo of no to low crowds, excessive fixture list for some and some leagues just returning from their winter break

Switzerland have just come back i believe and belgium seem to be playing every few days at the moment, could be the cause of some poor results
