@oliver-moore thanks mate... I also had Peterborough game on my list as well but will avoid that game as both teams are near the bottom and desperate for points... Those games can finish 0-0

When I'm trading my Split Stakes if I think a goal looks very likely based on IPS I'll let it run but never based on stats... Only inplay stats.
Take Estoril Sat night, I was in a Split Stake trade and IPS was screaming goal, I stayed in past my exit point and a goal followed on circa 81mins.
I traded out for 0.41pts red rather than 0.75/0.80pts red.
I have a lot of experience trading Split Stakes and reading IPS, its difficult to put a definitive answer into a post.
My best advice is stick to the trade until you gain enough experience to make good judgement calls.
With the correct strike rate you shouldn't worry about taking red... They happen but green will always win with the correct avg odds coupled with strike rate
