MLS got off to a flyer last night with mostly goals galore. Normally I wouldn't trade on the first weekend of a season but the game I watched was just begging for goals and sure enough they came.

@alan-steward for me it's not an end of month thing per se, it's just been a 2 week thing.

So we close another month and still people are posting about end of months wiping out their green. February has been another very profitable month for me with what should end up being 8 full pts green.

Once I start trading whole points on my SHG Trade I should be well over over 10pts green a month, that's all we need for trading @ pro level, 10pts green a month and £500 stakes... I strongly believe if we try to do it any other way we'll burn ourselves out.

Obviously this is only my opinion and it will differ to some if not the majority... That's fine, we're all individuals and we'll always have our own slant on trading.

Check your data... Is it robust enough?

I suspect these end of month losing streaks could actually hit at any time during a trading month.

Whilst we break things down it's always about the long term gain... Also if we start omitting results because after the event it didn't look right we're only kidding ourselves.

    Our results are our results.

Keep analysing, keep tweaking and stay green

    Best of luck today

For those having issues at the end of a month, here's a suggestion, once you've hit your profit target for the month, stop trading and take a few days off and do something different

It will give you a break and let you recharge your batteries without worrying about the monetary impact.

By all means still collect data but don't do any actual trading

@sean-fitzgerald I truly believe these last 2 weeks have been random as! Worst month since I started collecting data in Dec 2020.

Incredibly enough, depending on the way the day goes tomorrow I still have a chance to finish green or close to it, especially with Monday to come as well.

The end of month curse has hit me again. Today was horrific. I was sitting at 8.5pts profit for Feb prior to today and had my biggest losing day in a long time losing 6pts.

January was similar story. I was up 11.5pts for month with 3 days to go and finished the month at 3.5pts.

Maybe I should put the feet up for the last 3 days of the month each month.

P.S. I’m thankful it’s still green. It could be much worse. But frustrating nonetheless

when its against you its against you... out of the 4 games i had lined up united v watford was the only on that got matched for the SHG and its the only game that went 0-0.

    typical united.

Was going to get on the Anderlecht game, but not liking the look of its IPS

This one screwed me as well but if you didn't like the IPS what are you looking for - the late red card killed this one off for me

Up until the last couple of weeks I wasn't getting annoyed at these things but had an absolute catalogue recently.

Ruled out goals, 2 reds, 1 late red, missed pens. Roll on March.

Feb was going great up until last couple of weeks

The last 3 months for me has gone to s**t, I was scalping and went full tilt so decided to rejoin BTC, starting with a £15 bank attempting to make 3% per day now. If I pick the right game then that's it for the day ha ha ha. Baby steps lol
