I didn't expect to get another qualifier tonight but here we go anyway. I keep saying and telling myself that you can't trade scared so placing it and going for a shower haha!
LCS Wrexham 3-0
Finished with a win. Todays setback amounts to around 10% and probably recoverable with a run of 9 more straight wins.....
Gone from being just under 4% up to just over 6% down this month.

Lay Under 1.5 Goals:
19:45 - Morecambe v Oxford United
20:00 - Benfica v LiverpoolI also like the Lay price for Under 1.5 Goals in the Preston v Blackpool match. Only 3.1 for a derby match
Boom Morecambe done in 15 mins!

@Keith if it helps I think that it boils down to a matter of preference - some people prefer the liabilities of backing at a certain level of odds where they see value, others like to lay (this means the liability can look a bit scarier than some are comfortable with)
But with @Keith-Anderson (whose been crazy generous with the amount of picks he's shared on here), its a choice of backing Over 1.5 or laying Under 1.5.
To take the example of the Morecambe match he's suggested then the current choice is:
Back over 1.5 at odds of 1.24 - a tenner will give you 2.40 less commission
or lay Under 1.5 with a tenner odds are 5.1 so risk is £41 to win a tenner less commission (you could back 40 quid to win the same amount but again preference)
Thanks @Mark-Maguire and @Keith-Anderson much appreciated. Good luck all
Just to expand on Mark’s point a bit more, it doesn’t matter if you back or lay because it’s the same market. In his example you back with a tenner to win £2.40. Or you could lay with a tenner to win £2.40 (roughly). Or you could back the overs with £41 and win £10. The most important element is your total liability.
If you have a smaller bank it could be easier to back as you’re fixing your liability at a lower level. Using the above example again but with £1 stakes. If you back overs the maximum you will lose is £1. If you lay you’ll lose £4. If you had £100 bank that’s 1% or 4%. Are you comfortable risking 1% or 4% on a trade?
Hopefully that helps and just a thought exercise when you look at markets from different angles.
Cheers @Dan-MacKinnon makes a lot of sense mate
