@richard-latimer Must admit, i tend to ignore HTH. Different years, diff players, diff management - in my eye it has the one of the least important variables.
I know what you mean. It's just that when certain teams play each other you either seem to get tight games or very open affairs. I'm going to look at it for sure.

LCS Paks (Hungary) 3-0
Thought I was coming unstuck there. 4-0 at the death!
On another note, has anyone ever looked into the most simple H2H system for over 1.5? I know it's been done on sides to some degree of success (not here but elsewhere).
Not sure if anyone has ever simply taken an 80% over 1.5 on the H2H and ran with it before?

Back to the SHG potentials. Need to get on top of this and stop the recent slide:
If anyone who understands what I'm doing can help me automate it this would be much appreciated. I'm usually ok technically but the bots just seem to fry my brain

@stuart-wallace I can’t remember where I heard it, but someone made an interesting point that with more American owners in football is the likelihood of scrapping relegation more likely?
It will never happen fans, players, explayers wont stand for it will get the same reaction as the European Super League
The day promotion and relegation ends is the day hope dies in the lower dividions and we'll see a multitude of teams going out of business. In other words it will destroy the game in Europe

@matt-wood I personally don't think they will, however the big clubs will make it harder for teams to qualify for the Champions League (which is where the really big money is)
It is already hard. UEFA are giving extra places to teams who don't qualify, but have a good coefiecent historically. This is to help prevent a European Super League. Imagine being 5th, about 30 points behind the league champions and still qualifying?! 'Champions' League my arse!

@Martin Yes I agree too, I dont hink it would ever happen. I was just saying the likelyhood of it would increase. Its what drove the ESL when all that nonsense happened. The rich owners want a guaranteed income from a closed league system.
I expect teh ESL thing will come around again at some point. Hopefully it will get squashed like last time.
