Just on the Western Utd v Victory match for additional context/info this is also in essence a pre-season game as first “competitive” hit out in a couple of months. Having said that the A-League clubs take the cup seriously so would imagine both will have motivation.
The Bodo/Glimt match is not a league game as their opponents are from Lithuania!
Which is why Keith said in his initial post it’s a champions league qualifier

@mr-emmet-moorehouse When the Seoul goal went in I backed Ulsan at 3.5, removed liability when they scored and let it run as a free bet. Shame it finished 1-1
-
@dan-mackinnon Hope you got in on the trade.
-
@mr-emmet-moorehouse good point. It was just that I was looking at the stats and you feel there’s a goal coming just wasn’t sure how to approach it
-
@dan-mackinnon That match came up on my lay the draw filter. It might be a cheaper way of doing it.
-
It’s HT in the Ulsan vs Seoul match. Ulsan have had 12 shots, 6 on target, 6 off target. Seoul 0 shots.
7 for a SHG seems a bit much, but 1.7 to back Ulsan could be interesting?
-
@mr-emmet-moorehouse Yeah, That's how I've made anything. It starts turning into a tick after a while, looking to see if they've posted their selections every 3.5 mins and then get busy with something and it's suddenly 9pm and you've missed all the trades!!!!!

My trading week runs from a Monday until a Sunday.
Last week I made over 13% of my starting bankroll for the week. Any profit is welcomed, but it is normally higher. At the close of trade on Thursday, my 1.5's, were down around 20% of starting bankroll.
Friday, Saturday & Sunday were good days that helped eradicate the deficit and brought me into profit. No surprise that it was the return of the winter leagues.
These are the leagues were you should be making your money. These leagues are heavily scrutinised and there are loads of coverage and data available.
I'v been a member for about 8 months now and not really made any headway. I've made some money by following your trades, but not really developed a strategy of my own.
I think what I want to say, is that hearing real stuff like this is really good. Theres still a part of me who still doesn't beleive it's possible to make a living from doing this, let alone just a bit of extra cash which is my case.
I started with 122 in my betfair account and 650 in smarkets. They now sit at 180 and 770.
So when people talk in terms of percentage made/loss it's helpful versus "6 of 8 trade came in"
I think it grounds it a bit. So thanks Keith.I think you're judging this wrong. The fact you've made profit inside 8 months is great. I understand they aren't at the levels you were hoping, but not a lot of new members make profit within 8 months. Most blow several bankrolls. Trading isn't easy. If it was then everyone would be doing it. Don't be so hard on yourself.
Thanks Keith - I'd done some matched betting before this so had a handle on not going mad with a bank role.
I guess as long as I make more than this place costs me a month, I'm doing OK

I think it grounds it a bit. So thanks Keith.Obviously the percentage is only going to be relevant if you follow the same staking plan/structure.
I count my percentage rigorously but my staking is variable depending on odds so unless anyone is doing the same they would have different results percentage wise.

@mick-mcmahon You'd make money from the two 1.5 goal lads, Keith and Richard. You'd also make money from Ryan's picks and the daily trading angles- they are gold.
I am about 300 trades into my own SHG strategy and I have an 86% hit rate so I'll begin posting my own picks soon enough too.
It wasn't so good in July but then I'd gone off the rails as already documented. It should have been a good 10%+
You are well up overall though. I have made loads of cash from your picks.
