@matt-wood I have to talk to myself so I won't jump in and trade with no current data. The compromise I have reached is half stakes on no more than 3 games per day.
Yep, very easy to let the excitement overwhelm good judgement!

Think its time to commit all South American Leagues to the scrap heap
The ones I will consider are Brazil, Paraguay and Bolivia (top division in each). They all feel a bit flaky; daft prices at times, ridiculous SOT per goal, KO times through the night, huge potential for corruption etc. I know some people like Peru too. I never hear anyone say anything positive about any of the othersā¦.that can be quite a telling sign!
It's an unpopular opinion but since I've been using the world corruption perception index there's really only a few leagues I leave out which makes things a lot less complicated.
I put everything into the parameters and not the teams or leagues. I simply find that these leagues don't come up much but when they do they are reliable.
It measures perception of corruption in public offices with scores from 1-100. 100 being 100% clean.
Denmark is the highest on 88.
Anything below 30 I don't do which rules out Guatemala, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Turkmenistan.....but so far that's pretty much it.

Peru and PAraguay I'll reserve judgement on, the rest are gone
-
@chris-osborne which leagues are you referring to? I checked 2 sets of league data and the only worthwhile South American League was Peru

You'll rarely find them on my list. There are better matches to invest in
I'm coming round to that conclusion did ok last year but this season they've been hopeless. Game today with nearly 40 shots numerous on target and finished goaless

Iām surprised the Liverpool odds in the outright have drifted so much. Start of the day it was 3.6 and now 4.7

So as the winter season starts across Europe can I ask how long people wait to actually trade games? I don't tend to trade until about seven to eight games into the season that tends to give me a pretty good guide into how teams are performing anyone go in earlier or later? Or do you start straight away and perhaps maybe reduce your stakes?
Probably depends if you're using stats or odds based strategies. However, I start straight away. Loads of information available for the big winter leagues. You can easily build up a picture
