That's good mate for a newbie. Sounds like you have mastered mentality from the beginning I wish I had . It wasn't until the last month when things at work really concerned me that I have suddenly dawned on me I must master mentality and bank management which I seem to be now. Look to try to see your bank after each month rather than weekly so aim to get to £150.00 in 3 weeks. Then increase the stake of your trades to the same percentage of the £100.00 bank you done before ,and do so each month in a year or so you will be probably have a very nice bank.

@james-woodroffe cheers, just trying to figure out what works best- not easy. I like the sound of these late goal filters for obvious reasons but im not sure how to set one up. Dont know if there is a reliable members filter for that or not so might have a go at one myself

Hi Martin , sounds like you are doing well with this strategy. I have recently set up a late goal filter just paper trading but I was going to get in irrespective of the score on 80mins. Your version sounds like a more of a potentially profitable way. Not many matches where the match is drawing in the last 20mins would both teams be happy with a draw. What times did you say you got in at was it around 75th and 83rd did I read ?

@james-woodroffe I used to have a spreadsheet somewhere that showed how your quickly your bank will advance even from as little as £20 if you stick to the same % of stake every time and get a sensible win rate. Lost it now, but it kind of calms you down when you have a losing streak. Learning not to get greedy is probably the hardest lesson because it always bites you in the arse in the end.

@john-hurst maybe have a try at entering your LTD’s later mate and letting them run or back the next goal market on 60 or 70 minutes if 0-0 or 1-1 the lay odds will obviously be more appealing as obviously will the back bets. Just keep asking questions and soak everything up. It takes time mate.

@james-woodroffe That's a great point. If I have learned ONLY ONE thing it's to stick to a staking plan and the win rate will sort out the rest.

@john-hurst try not to think to much mate about how much you’re earning early doors and focus more on when you want to enter trades and if you wanna get out or get in later and let them run. Work on things whilst you’re learning to create good habits. Once you see that you win more trades than you lose you will feel more confident to up your bank and your stakes. But in the meantime don’t worry about £ that will come in time.

Also trialling a new 2nd half goals staking system atm for games that expect 1 or 2 2H goals. Early signs are good

@adam-williams or @Ryan-Carruthers would be better placed to answer this, I know there are ways you can look at these kinds of things with the software but must admit certain minutes are not something I have explored.

I had 5 out of 8 on late first goal filter today. But the beauty of it is 4 of these games and all 4 bets matched so still made green overall. I also made recoveries on 2 of the games in the second half as the stats on the btc software suggested 2nd half goals. 1 of the 3 losses included a missed penalty on 29 mins but with my new mindset was able to shrug off without any fuss. 2nd half goals at bundesliga and Denmark ensured another great day. Thanks to all on here for supporting each other. Great set of guys.

I do. I like when the inplay stats look good but it doesn't change my plan.

@john-hurst I'm at a similar stage to you with trading.

Not closing trades when your LTD after 60 mins especially with this strategy of @Martin-Futter 's of drip laying when the liability reduces is one of the many key take away's I've had so far from the 3 weeks I've been a BTC member.
