@mark-palfrey if you click home on forum then scroll down on right hand side you should find a thread names Profitable Members filters, that will have the sheet, sorry I’m on mobile

@Martin also quick question on your Over 3.5 Set and Forget strat. What is the reason you are not trading the selection for today Botev Vratsa v Beroe Stara Za? Its come up on your filter but its not been selected on your spreadsheet?

@martin Thanks Martin. The link to the footy one looks to point to the Set&Forget one which is great and I am following closely. I was wondering if there is a version for the trading one? Or were you guys referring to the Set and Forget for a banging weekend just gone?

Yes way better weekend just gone! Certainly the best of the month for me. Did get on a lot of those SHGs but some didn’t quite match the odds I was after. Still nice profit!
Only minor frustration is the Sod’s law at looking at some of the summer leagues I discounted going goal crazy again!
But profitable weekend so can’t complain! -

I was laying at 4.2 but have now decided to back at 1.31 to reduce the liability. They are set and forget - if they don't get matched, so be it, but at the moment 78.5% of the trades are being matched in time and the overall strike rate is 81%. The results have been a bit jumpy over the last 3 weeks or so with some strange scorelines but my filter only uses the main leagues that obviously have the most data, in an attempt to get consistency.

I'm always fired up Martin, and the strategy I am building has an 81% strike rate so I'm trying to stick with it. Perhaps instead of the word 'boring' I should have used the phrase "laptop-throwing frustration" ha ha
Anyway, keep up the good work, it's nearly the weekend!

@martin Of course I find betfair trading interesting or I wouldn't be here. It was simply my frustration at having 3 wins and one loss, two days in a row, which took me back to zero overall. Perhaps I should have been more careful with my wording, it was meant to be a light hearted 'rage' against the trading gods. Sorry you felt you had to come out swinging, glad you had such a good day though!

@alastair-todd build a portfolio of strategies that work over the long term. It’s just maths really. Sounds like you have one strategy and you aren’t sure if it works? Maybe get on the private coaching if you want some help. Or if you don’t find trading interesting do something else, to me Betfair trading is fantastic and anything but dull, each to their own!
