@ryan-carruthers 100% this filter was never a fhg filter but its showing a lot of promise. ive also got a 2nd half goals filter that showing big promise but only just over 100 games on that one hopefully ill be able to put both of these into the community at some point.
-
@liam-willis I like the sound of it
There's always so much gold in trying filters then tracking what happens as a lot of time your initial thought can be wrong but leads to some amazing results.

Just a question for @martin-futter and Ryan Carruthers
I was wondering are you in process of testing some new filters for new strategies at the moment?
If so any news on how they are going in testing?@Richard-Latimer is getting back to us when his have been fully tested, also looking to see if we can get this ratings ones on somehow as it is so good
Not last couple of days haha!

@ryan-carruthers ive got one fhg strat which has come from an unders filter, i noticed there was a lot of late fhgs so started looking at that. its got 303 games and only 2 losing days and 3 break even days in 18. its used with staking strat but ive not been able to track all the games so there is a lot of assumption that the odds are met at certain times when the goal is scored. looking through i think that most odds would have been met. i want to put real money on it before releasing this as i dont want to be responsible for ppl losing money, so ill collect another 2 weeks data especially as uk football is starting. if its profitable ill let you and martin know and see what you guys think.

On Betfair there's a lot of markets. But does all of them actually get traded or is it the main ones like match odds and over/under 2.5 correct score?
Hard at moment thinking of a few new ideas over last few days but can't possibly trade all ideas. So how do people strip back and choose which one to do.
-
@liam-willis I echo M's comments, there's been a lot of games in a short space of time recently.
What's the market you will be using?
-
@gary-brown Sounds promising, keep me informed of what happens.
I love the scored and conceded! I did a video on this because I think it's the most overlooked stat in Football, if you know who scored and if the team concedes higher chance of a goal in my experience!
-
@liam-willis i'd say a couple of hundred is good but as it's such a short space of time maybe go in small and see how the next couple of hundred go
-
@Martin-Futter @Ryan-Carruthers quick question, when testing a strategy i know you like 3 months data, but what about amount of games. im paper trading a few strats at the moment some are approaching 200 games but only just over 3 weeks data, they are looking to be profitable. would you still give it the 3 months or would you start going in with small stakes?

t was a late goals one 70 mins plus. I will kee
At the moment I am testing a few over 1.5 goal filters for entering around 30 mins but letting it run to the end for a full win. So ods are half decent above 1.5
Also looking at a FHG filter that focuses on goals scored and goals conceded in the first half which i guess is different to how most people do it.
5 different filters I am testing for over 1.5 goals each with slightly different criteria to focus on. Really early days so far as i have started them this week but with most matches finishes over 1.5 goals thought it is worth a go testing different types of filters to see what they through up.

@gary-brown Yes mate am fully aware of 1st game of season mate... It's a watch list and must meet certain in-play criteria for me to be happy with... Don't mind zero trades
Will shout in the best I can but am heading over to Poole this afternoon for my daughters bday.
Have set up a new filter based on convo with Ryan re checking SH scored/conceded stats for my correct score trades... It's going okay... That said and as Ryan quite rightly pointed out Leipzig are the stand out team here
Have also just set up a similar filter for FHG... Will see how that goes... However my stat research at the weekend certainly indicated that post COVID SH goals deserve more energy.

I am always testing a few simple ones, thought I was onto a winner then variance took a massive hit, it was a late goals one 70 mins plus. I will keep me eye out
Are you on the hunt for a new filter?

Todays SH Goal Watch
18:00 Degerfors v Brage
18:00 Osters v Norrby
19:30 RB Leipzig v DusseldorfLay next overs circa odds 3.5-3.0
Minimum Entry Stats;
0 Goals - 4 SOT plus good equal attacking intent
1 Goal - 7 SOT plus good equal attacking intent
1-1 - 7 SOT plus good equal attacking intent (same SOT as above but a good scoreline, although one of the most popular... Be wary!)
2-0 or 0-2 - No tradeMay update if some missing leagues return to stats software
Be careful on Swedish games Alan that league is just starting up mate so the data will be based on last season.
