@richard-latimer Don’t worry the country more than makes it back from all the tourist money and then some
Whether it does or it doesn't is still not the point but I'll leave it on the football trading thread.

The coronation i think cost around £100 million and its expected to bring in an extra £200 million of economic benefit. Some times you need to speculate to accumulate as BTC traders will be aware.
All those foreign leaders and tourists flying in, aircraft need refuelling, servicing. They all require transport, accommodation etc which they will be paying us for.
I can see your point £100 million still seems high though. I don’t want this thread to descend into off topic so I will leave it there!
Yes but he's worth 1.8 bn while children go hungry and food banks were refused funding.
Maybe we take it into off topic or agree to disagree
Richard, do you know who should be feeding the hungry and the poor? Us! I include myself in this. We should be doing a lot more. It shouldn't be left to the rich. Why? Because it turns into the bystander effect and nobody helps.
I take your point but I'm still trying to sort my own life out. Don't think this really excuses a billionaire using the public purse for a lavish party. Imo of course.

Awful. Could of left it out just for one day.
I didn't see it but maybe they were objecting to the millions spent on a coronation of a man worth £1.8bn using money from the public purse denied to food banks......just maybe....?
See your point but they bring in more to the Uk economy more than they take out I believe. A lot of the world has a lot of respect for the monarchy which helps our world standing. I think the food bank issue has been caused by years of tory failure and the worst decision every made voting to leave the Eu . I don't believe the rest of the Eu is in such a bad financial situation as we find ourselves in!
I used to think the same re money they brought in but not so sure that's true. Also doesn't explain why he couldn't use his own personal fortune.
The royals are well thought of globally because it's different. They don't have it.
As for our world standing, that's rhrough the floor and I agree 100% on your last 2 points which is why our world standing is so bad right now.

Not many matches on my filters today. Like Martin i am not trading any of the Winter European leagues now . I have a few back the draw matches this evening and had a couple of wins overnight on Martins over 1.5 goals system.
Got a street party this afternoon so hopefully we may finally see some Sun out -

Liverpool fans booing of national anthem was abhorrent
Perhaps they should relocate to Ireland if they hate being part of the Uk so much!
