@richard-latimer Yep I think the smooth football he wouldn't ever be able to play, I dont think he would be as bad as some think but it still wouldn't be the pretty football of Pep, but then you could argue that there wouldn't be many that could copy that.
I think he would be more like Jose, defensively strong, hard to play against.
-
@jon-kinnear Similar to Martin, but I will trade if theres something to play for. Like Brighton for example if they come up for me then I will probs look at them, so as a rule I don't trade the last 5 games but if theres something to play for I will.
It's a great time as well because theres some amazing leagues starting up now, which when the winter leagues finish they'll be ready to trade.

3 from 3 tonight!!! 5 from 5 over the past 2 days. Good going
Can I ask what filters you use? BTC 2nd half goals have very few selections. Clearly its about the situation too i guess, looking for games with few 1st half goals with teams that usually have scoring games?
There isn't any filters. I just watch a few games and try to determine if there will be a SHG

@richard-latimer do you use an upper/lower odds limit for you lays?
No not really. Won't go higher than 11 but very rarely relevant.
1/2 tonight, small loss. Poor start to May but plenty of time.
That's probably my fault. Had rubbish start to April and got married mid April, so not done any trades for a couple of week.
Saw your trades and thought, I'll get on that! SorryNah it's mine. I analyse everything but sometimes I overlook. Fredericia's last 3 away games ended 0-1 which is like rocking horse s**t on my data. Would not trade again, shouldn't have traded it last night.

Big Sam, Dyche, Hodgson, etc. all have the same issue that they get called boring or just long ball merchants, but look at what they had to deal with. A bad spell with either England or a top 4 club has branded them below par which is a bit unfair.
If you put Dyche in charge of Man City he won't be playing the same way he did with Burnley. I'd rather have one of them in a moment of need than Lampard
Agree with you on the last part but then I'd rather put my mum in charge than Lampard
I'm sure Chelsea fans will take that option right now!
My mum?

My back up if betfair fails is smarkets, I know some people use Betdaq also. Not ideal but will keep you trading until all clear with betfair

Effective with limited resources. Not sure he'd know how to manage an elite dressing room or have them playing good football on the pitch.
-
Yeah not the greatest tactically or playing style wise but he was effective. I also think he made good use of what he had. I think the nightmare he had newcastle ruined that for him.
I think it would of been interesting to see how he would of approached games with england but as you say they have never been the best to watch. -

Allardyce is legend one of the best managers we have had in many years shame england came calling for him to ruin it. I'm unfortunately safc fan btw, with only 4 games to go though it's a tough ask.
He's not tactically up there with the best or one of the best clubs would have hired him. He knows how to play to his strengths which is hardly the same.
I hate watching England at the best of times. Would've have been 10× worse with him at the helm. Back to kick and run with our multi million £ squad!!

I think they have 100% left it too late, maybe he'll get them back in the big league next season though lol
That's if Man City haven't poached him with his superior football knowledge
Pep who???
