@daniel-cooper Hi mate for a simple answer to your question... Maybe only trade teams/matches where they have played 5 home & Away games each respectively (per season) and to be safe stop trading the league when it's 90% complete.
I generally use the 5 home & away rule and it's in most of my filters as a requirement.
Oh and welcome to BTC... I was a rugby man myself, played Front Row for 25 years
Oh sorry as per additional info as @John-Hurst stated Sofascore for in-play & soccerstats.com for stats based but pretty certain BTC should cover any stats you need for trading, if not ask yourself the question as to why you're trading that game

Split Stake winner from Ryans filter in Japan hopefully those who struggled yesterday kept the faith as I'm sure it will fully recover... Yes early days yet but I'm confident... Filter is well green post COVID

Good morning gents,
jumped into an early FHG in the Shimzu v Osaka match laid at 1.57 on 32 will look to enter again around 39.There’s the goal 0-1 didn’t get to lay again on 39 but half point to start the day.
Lol, I was also in that... Small stakes only on my bot testing another FHG filter all 4 stakes matched & .865pts green

Hi folks! Hope everyone had a green day! Question from a noobie, if you wouldn’t all mind chiming in:
I have been trading for about 4-5 weeks now, only one week of which has been with BTC (best decision I ever made!). Football is my chosen sport, less so because of a personal interest and more as it was the sport for which I learned most of my initial strategies, and the sport the chap that introduced me to trading uses, and because I understand the sport at a basic level despite not being a particularly sporty person!
It has been since I joined BTC i really started to look at in play stats as well as the intangibles - what are a teams motivations, if any, going in to a match. This is something I’ve had go put extra time and effort into as it doesn’t come naturally to someone who hasn’t lived and breathed football for their life (I’m more of a rugby person!). I have to research all the tournaments, how many games are played, how many points for a win or draw, how many teams will be relegated, what happens to the top teams etc etc etc and try to make a judgement, usually picking up on bits discussed in the news or this forum too! My question is this:
While I suspect it won’t benefit the majority, does anyone know of a single source of information for the above on all tournaments/leagues/competitions in the football software we subscribe for? I imagine it wouldn’t be too hard to make an excel based cheat sheet once I know all the above! I hope my post makes sense!

@alan-steward one last question al...i promise- if you get your fhg and its 1-0 at half time do you then back over 2.5 goals or would you leave that game alone now? tia

@martin-futter what would you say is your main strategy/strategies mate? i see you mentioning late goals and underdog lays, anything else in there?
just in football I have a fhg and unders strategy I am doing at the moment, still too early to share but looking promising

@alan-steward so these would be back fhg + over 1.5 goals if 0-0 at ht? is that correct mate
That is correct... Cash out after 1 goal to help subsidise the loss or let run to risk covering/part covering loss more or increase red to 1pt

@richard-latimer i'm spending a good 1-2 hours just checking the motivations everyday at the moment, has been worth it though missed out a fair few rotters as a result!

There was some good news. Bytovia took the lead early, went behind late and levelled again so more data supporting I should be laying these like Martin. I've tracked 6 wins and 2 losses so far. Because these are likely to be low liability it's looking to make more and more sense.
Also, something I would have dismissed looking for areas in which I could trim the fat previously. Trencin superior home tea, nothing to play for and trounced 0-3. Well avoided.
Another thing we have to look at (in these times) Trencin were not playing at home! Totally different stadium
That I didn't realise

Using Split Stakes I caught the game in Austria and it only returned .049pts but had that goal come after 35mins it would have probably returneded over .85pts
And as the goal was pre 15mins I would normally have missed it so small winnings to help pay for losses
Another 2 games to look at later if you wish but please understand these selections are still in test mode... I'm only using half stakes as I then back o1.5 goals @ HT if still 0-0 for another 0.5goals... If 1st goal has been scored in the SH before 70mins another most likely another follows, however for now maybe just look at FHG... Maybe track the full results but not trade, your call
