It's funny with this site/forum, there are so many great ideas brought up that it's nigh on impossible to keep track of them all . Excellent forum, this is. And why do I talk like Yoda now?
I was thinking this exact thing, minus the Yoda bit.
Last couple of days has been quiet for games so I have been reading on here and it is amazing/fantastic to see someone throw an idea out and then everyone joins in, in a good way. All the comments and tweaks on things are a great learning experience for me when these chats take place.

@liam-willis just checked your sheets, think you have a 67% strike rate for +70min trades. So if on average at 70 min its typically +1.7 odds this will with a 1% of bank stake be returning 14% for every 100 trades (minimum so has potential for more). As long as your sheet is accurate.

Grasshoppers already ahead. Very early lead. Looks like the home team has pretty much decided to call it a day and go on vacation... Only 4 substitutes on the bench according to flashscore. It's on the SHG filter by Gary (and mine as well for >2.5 goals).
-
Qatar SC ahead. Laid on the ELO.
-
Im looking for 10% but to be honest its a random i decided i wanted
-
@richard-latimer im not a big fan of laying so most of my strategies are back 2%
-
@richard-latimer i only risk always one point to get 0.25-2.5 points depends when the goal came in

How many points or percent are people looking for for a successful strategy. Monthly for example
For me it's more about the yield rather than points. You could lay stupid odds, go on a winning run and pick up loads of points but you need to know how much has been risked to get those points.

@liam-willis That's exactly what I've found with my main goal filter mate... Once you've collected enough data (I now have 2 months post COVID) and it's showing possibilities for more trades!!!
yeah its been a massive learning curve for me i didnt realise how important collecting data was. its only when you see the hundreds of games on paper that you see the patterns start to emerge

@martin-walker i dont know the strike rate mate still getting my head around the formulas lol i can tell you in cold hard cash that at £10 stakes at worst odds of 2.3 you would be £461 up
-
@liam-willis do you know what the strike rate drops to after 70 mins?

@liam-willis Hi mate what is the selection criteria... Did I miss this earlier?
hello mate martin is having a look at my filter to see if its worth putting up. basically its a 2nd half filter which has an 87% sr at moment the criteria is 2 starts drip back at 50 60 70 80 or as near odds to 1.3 1.5 2.0 3.0 or no lower than 1.2 1.4 1.8 2.5 alternatively lcs at 70 mins 2.0-2.3
-
@liam-willis This is spot on mate... What we measure we can manage.
Some of you might get bored of me saying this but hopefully it will stick.
I'm now analysing my main Goal Filter and seem to have spotted an amazing opportunity for FHG... More selections over the month than my other one and appears to be just as profitable... Am just finishing of digging into it at the mo

@liam-willis top post mate big advocate for tracking and data analysis, while profit is all that matters, finding those tweaks always add a huge edge to anyone's trading!
