    Liam this data is brill.

Would you think the amount of games would be a lot more than an average month due to leagues trying to finish off the season and constantly playing games?

its hard to say mate cos you have to take into account german leagues finished a couple of weeks ago summer leagues starting later also no french belgian or dutch leagues so i think it would all average out and the results will be similar. one thing i have noticed is you can trade every game and be in profit or you can hand pick games and be in profit. but you have to be consistent and commit to a strategy cos you will get a small run of losers.

Would you think the amount of games would be a lot more than an average month in a year due to leagues trying to finish off the season (Coronavirus impact) and constantly playing games throughout these last 2 months?

From the data Liam are the 490+ games from Gary H’s filter for SHG?

@richard-latimer i forgot to add on my filter a lcs at 70 mins for 2.0 to 2.3 is just as profitable if not a bit more especially if you get 2.0. you just get less games that hit.

I think the less is more probably applies perfectly there.

yeah definitely i think what i tried to see was if 2 different strategies could be used to suit 2 different styles of traders but get similar results and what i found was that it did. for someone who likes a lot of trades the drip back suits but for someone who likes less risk the over 70 works. both work for different reasons.

So how many games less you talking?

I wanna say Gary SHG filter in the members section is worth looking Into guys.

I don’t see many people using it as it’s probably best filter at the moment from what I have found

Has anyone seen Gary Brown and Gary Haigh in the same room together? Just saying haha!

im using it mate with the drip method i mentioned yesterday. its very good.

When do you start dripping? What is min price you will take for first drip?

it currently has an 87% strike rate so you could go as low as 1.2 then 1.4 1.8 2.5 approx. i prefer going in at 50-53 60-63 70-73 and 80-83 this should give you 1.3 1.5 2.0 3.0. not all the time depending on teams and current scores. but genenerally around them 2 sets of prices. if you can get the second set of prices you will get a return of £9.50 on a £10 fully matched stake. 2% commission. so 1 full win nearly gets back a full loss. and with that strike rate at the moment its profitable.

Over how many selections is it 87% though? Are some leagues ruled out? Is this only on certain HT scores?

my own filter which has 86% sh goals has 500 games garys which ive started using along side is only 50 games but early signs are similar results to my own filter which is why i think it will work the same. i did try and work out on my filter all the selections at the 1.2 start price as a worse case scenario as a lot of games take a while to hit the 1.3. it was still very profitable so im happy to take 1.2 as a bare minimum but always try and get 1.3 i wont go below the 1.2 tho.

Does your own filter use betfair odds as well?

no it doesnt tbh it was an early filter i set up and i thought id have a look at it during lockdown i started paper trading it and it seems to be strong. i am making money from it at small stakes and i wlll be increasing stakes on it steadily. it does throw up quite a few games but i do dismiss some leagues i.e lithuania vietnam uls etc

If you have 500 games why don't you see if Martin will add it to the members filters?

id be happy for that if martin wants to add it

ive messaged martin so will see what he says

@liam-willis I like that way of doing it, ive got a similar filter which ive just started recording again. Only got 54 results and 51 have had a SH goal but it worked really well previously over 400 results so ive been trying to find a sweet spot of price compared to timing

i think finding the sweet spot is the key. for me its like having a bread and butter trade, one that i can turn to to make some money. im a big fan of laying teams that are behind for low lays. but this strategy is the workhorse so to speak
