Going to reduce stakes until after the FACup 3rd round but will still trade my filters

@chris-osborne Ligue 1 in France and La Liga in Spain are both back next week also, on the 28th in France and the 29th in Spain 👍🏼

I hope people aren't expecting a full slate of fixtures across Europe next week

Although the Premier League is starting back up, very few of the other European Leagues other than Belgium, Turkey and France 2 will be playing this year.

Most countries are on there regular winter breaks and will restart throughout January. Weather conditions in mountainous countries will make it impossible in some countries.

One of the best world cups I can remember. Maybe FIFA got it right? Bit gutted for France but on the plus side I have absolutely violated my best mate who is French tonight. Serves him right after last week 🤣🤣🤣
you the words 'violate' 'best mate' worry me....

In terms of entertainment and drama I agree however the quality of football has been incredibly poor which I think is due to the timing and lack of preparation time.

I also have major issues with a team reaching the semi finals having only won one game.

you wont let that go will you ?!!

lol fair comment - I've moved on now can ignore International football until 2024

It seems today that footballers think they have to copy the World Cup Final from 70 minutes onward yesterday .. 8 goals in china earlier and now 5 goals in the first half in Turkey .. madness.

    Hello All,

I've been taking a break so that I can watch football without worrying about my trading.

Do you all have any thoughts about getting back into trading the major leagues? Will you be waiting for a week or two for the World Cup effect to wear off and for normal statistical behavior to return?

Regarding the leagues that went ahead during the world cup, have the filters remained effective in predicting goal outcomes?

    Thank you for your help.

Most leagues are now in there winter break and don’t restart until mid to end Jan. Premier LEague and top divisions in Belgium, Turkey and Greece are the main leagues restarting.

I may drop stakes but going with what the filters are telling me. There are too many breaks to keep stop starting there is always an excuse or another at this rate we’ll never trade anything

@dan-mackinnon I'm pretending to be sympathetic whilst quietly thanking the world for not making me go through days of gloating French people .. albeit that the bizarre thing about France is half of them (particularly in the South) don't support France.. or change teams during tournaments .. so for example they would have supported Italy against France if Italy had qualified .. went with France but when France lose they can pretend not to be bothered ..its genius if you think about it 😄

@chris-osborne I think that's always been the plan for Liverpool problem is players get injured at Liverpool a lot lol

Preaching to the converted on injuries been the same for us

Derails your season massively, you can't even replace the injured players, I agree when Klopp said to the reporter about it 'Who's better than X, that's available now?' They've got to be better than the player they are filling in for, don't stockpile players
