    @james-everard

    Many would argue that being from Newcastle I'm not fluent in English either.

    I think Iceland is just being rational, not taking any unnecessary risks. As Finn pointed out, they, and all the Nordic (for Richard Latimer) countries, have handled COVID very well (maybe Sweden hasn't, but no spikes yet).

    @finn-kristensen Hi Finn , being as you are the master of Scandinavian football can you confirm if the Icelandic leagues have been put on hold? Yesterdays matches on flash scores said cancelled and also the same for today cheers

    It's funny you ask because I also noticed it yesterday and tried to find out what happened. They officially have postponed the matches but for now, I haven't seen it stated anywhere when they plan to continue the tournament, if at all. I am a bit surprised about this, as Iceland has handled the Coronovirus particularly well.

    Postponed until 7th August. Good news is, training is still allowed:

    Cool - I noticed that there were matches on flashscore on August 9. They will probably be played then.

    Cheers guys . At least it is only a week or so fingers crossed they resume then. Hopefully the Swedish , Norwegian and Finnish leagues don't suffer the same issues. Think we could get a lot of this over the next year when local or short term national lockdowns hopefully just for short periods

    Hi all I am new to the BTC forum even though I have been a member for a little while on and off. Have had mixed success with trading football but I really want to nail it down. Which of the BTC trading strategies work well? I can see quite a few of the results have gone south of late since football has restarted. Prior to that they looked pretty decent.

    @Mark-Palfrey Hi mate sorry for a delayed reply, Ryan's split stake is always a good one to start with and will probably pick up when the summer league kick in also Richards ELO picks which are on the daily email seem to be flying if you're comfortable with a slightly larger liability. Good luck though, would recommend familiarising yourself with this thread there is a lot of good advice knocking about on it 👍
    Would also recommend having a go at the stats software challenge as the goal eventually according to the pros is to try and find your own working filter and strategy

    Okay 1-0 to Inter and wouldn't get involved again even though there could well be another goal... But... Just noticed game is being played in Germany... A COVID thing??? Will let this one go.

    Utd... Urm no, stats look awful

    Catch up with you all tomorrow 👍

    They only play this one match on neutral ground as the first home match was canceled (the winner continues to the next round). All matches will be played on neutral ground in Germany the next rounds and until the final as one-off matches as well. Also the Champions League quarter- and semifinals will be played on neutral grounds (in Lisbon).

    @richard-latimer dont go chasing mate... Let it come back naturally 👍

    No chance mate.

    May have something in Paraguay but I think that's it. On the plus side Ive been looking so see if setting my goal pick lays to get in on 70 may be more profitable. Was already looking that way slightly but after 2 losses on the bounce it's fairly screaming at me.
