@ryan-carruthers LOL... Any fancies For Aussie match
-
@alan-steward Wow! Martin thought he'd never see the day!
-
Sydney have conceded in 5/5 since come back & Brisbane have scored 2/3 and against Wellington.
Surely Sydney need to wake up and get back to business, still see an away win but am also seeing minimum 2 goals
Prob 0-2, Poss 1-1 outside 1-2
Will monitor in-play stats to assess Split stake on 30mins using half stakes (leaving potential to LCS @ evens)
-
@ryan-carruthers Norwich City have been crowned Premier league champions!
-
@richard-latimer I noticed that the list Martin sends out on the daily email are a shortened version of the list you post here - do you know what the difference is between the 2? There appears to be a further filtering and i was wondering if anyone had monitored the difference in success between the full list and the condensed version
-
Nothing early doors today anyway so time to get on with some work.

So now Guarani are losing and down to 10. Cheap lay @ 1.41.
It's 10 v 10 now.
Crappy that markets have been perma-suspended for last 20 mins
It's back now but odds up to evens.
Was ready to write this one off as a bad day at the office. Still red but only by around a point and half now.

Just had quick look at matches where it was the first of the season and up until tonight they were break even. No reason not to do them as could go either way. Don't remember it being an issue in the past. Flamengo could just as easily have been awarded a pen and got the goal back then we wouldn't be talking about this. It's all fractions. I'm confident of making 2pts up though.

If ELO is calculated through each game, does it include pre-season friendlies? If it doesn't, then that means it is based on the previous season's results, which could be several months prior to the game.
Genuinely interested to find out either way, if you know.
I doubt it as the stats databse doesn't include them does it.

Could it not just be that perhaps some games are from teams playing their first games of the season?
For example, today Kilmarnock pulled off a draw with Celtic in the first game of the Scottish Premiership.
However, I know you've been tracking this for a year or so and it may be that ELO transcends early season nonsense. In which case, it's just plain old nasty variance.
Considering ELO is merely added and subtracted with every given result I think early season stuff is less important. Summer leagues have been doing well enough from the get go. Occasional mishap more than made up for by the ones that end well.
BUT I AMREALLY INTERESTED HOW MANY GAMES Y CAN LAY ARROUND 2 OR LOWER AND HOW MANY ABOVE 2
You are more than welcome to look at my sheet. It is all documented there for the last year.
