poor day today with 3 losses. one shg and the two elo dog lays (leaving them now) hope tomorrow is an improvement
Did you not trade out of Gent?
no, will be giving belgium a miss until they are a few games in (ideally 10). Seem to remember a loss there last week as well.
Fair enough but I can't stress enough, I would never be leaving mine in all the way. Still profitable but you will get far more bumps along the road.

@matt-wood I dont think its a bad idea if you have a little confidence in your discipline and you monitor things, even if you just do it to get you over the threshold of the £2 issue. Even at £50 balance, youd have to be 25 pts down before your balance is gone so as long as you stick to 1% stakes then you should be ok

Morning all/. Scratch day for me yesterday lets see if I can do a bit better today and get some green. Getting fed up with a small bank and having to mess about with smaller than £2 stakes (will admit to one or two admin errors here resulting in a red )
Good luck to everyone today
Can you not leverage your bank slightly? Your betfair balance doesnt have to equal your trading bank balance. So if you have say £100 in betfair then set your bank at £200 allowing you to revert to £2 per point. Obviously youd have to record stuff on a spreadsheet but i guess youve got some sort of records anyway. You dont want to leverage too much but if you do it 2:1 then youd have to be 50 pts down overall before your BF balance was zero
Yes I keep thinking I should do this but I guess I am being a little too conservative and fearful. I think I am going to end up doing this as you have suggested since my 'admin errors' have cost me money.
It might make me more focused in an odd way as I will be more fearful of my bank doing this.
Thanks for you advice

Very small red today. That will teach me for attempting to do any trading on my anniversary I guess haha!
Thought I'd just take a look at away games with the level of ELO that Slovan Bratislava had today. I won't say it's the first loss but it is the first time a stronger away team has equalised with this level of ELO and then gone on to lose. Not only that but it's when they conceded again, immediately after HT, meaning odds weren't much lower than the first lay and as such it went from green to red. I still think this iis the right thing to do but along with all the excellent results it does show this strategy is dealing with a few things that almost never happen right now.
