@daniel-cooper yep very short, very easy winner but understandable to avoid
-
@daniel-cooper i dont trade at ht myself but you were right not to enter that one. 1.1 is terrible value
-
Don’t know about anyone else, but I didn’t end up entering the Leiknir trade that was on the email. Followed the strat from the saved members filters, but the odds for backing the next over at HT were about 1.10 which seemed hardly worth it. The strat on the filter says something about laying the current score at HT, and aiming for odds of 1.25+??? I may have misunderstood but some clarity on that strat would be fab. Either way, very high strike rate advertised by @Martin-Futter and as expected, there was at least 1 SHG! Looks like a great filter if you know what to do with it!

@chris-osborne Yes, definitely scraping the barrel!
-
Sure sign there's no football to trade if we're having a discussion about spreadsheets!!

@richard-latimer Ha Ha, don’t tell me you work out the price difference between half, full board and all inclusive and calculate the necessary drinks and food consumption to justify the cost difference?
Probably not that no. Just the pros and cons of each haha!

@richard-latimer I have spreadsheets galore! Anything that I need to track.....build a spreadsheet! If I need a new feature then just google it!
If I'm deliberating where to go on holiday and what hotel to stay at.......spreadsheet haha
-
@chris-osborne yeah I agree that they aren’t necessary for everything but I think for tracking, recording and then analysing data then at least a basic knowledge really goes a long way

I think excel knowledge is vital, so much can be done in excel and it’s great for just filtering stuff out and tracking stuff. If you are wanting to pull data from sheet to sheet in excel use VLOOKUPs, you can use match ID as a reference point for both sheets
I love my spreadsheets haha!
I agree 100% Lee but alot of people don't use spreadsheets so need to keep things as simple as possible without complicating things.
One of the biggest issues with Spreadsheets I find at work is taking over sonmeone elses and trying to work out how things work.
As my boss says the four of us in our team could carry out the same task in four different ways and get the same result.

That's so simple it's brilliant! I spent time faffing about with VBA to do that exact task.......

@richard-latimer only know how to do it on google sheets, had to watch a video to figure it out at first. Really easy on there tho, just the same as usual you click sum and then scroll to the cell on a different sheet and click and it loads nicely. No idea how to do it with other spreadsheet apps tho
Prob same on excel. Cheers.
Sounds similar, I've never used Google Sheets but only so many ways of calculating something

@chris-osborne looks good mate might tap you up myself never known how to record data from.one tab into another...I'm self taught so learn as I go and only know the basics
No problem, I work with spreadsheets for 40hrs a week, if you want something ping me your email and strategies and I can adapt easily enough
Very happy with how Chris Set up my spreadsheet. I am an absolutely useless with things like this so was very happy and appreciative of his efforts for me . This is what makes this community different from any others the support and advice is brilliant.
-
@darri I actually stole some of your formulas yesterday to set up my sheets for recording trades
-
Took my dogs out for a walk and missed the Icelandic game lol... What a plonker... Was going to drip 25% stakes from KO on FHG and do 2 drips on o2.5 goals.
Note to self... Pay attention!!!
