I think there has but it would be highly unusual. Even then you have OT and a field goal minimum is likely.
Difference is you can have 5 seconds left on a game lock where you know that's it and the qb throws a hail Mary and wins from nothing.

If only we could rest players - 4 of our best players out injured tonight but at least maddison's back

Anybody watch the Jonkopings game? My god can they not take a penalty haha! Twice. Didn't see the first but the second was woeful.
