@darri ive always traded 60-70 mins and you helped me with that and ive been profitable for a while now. As i learn to look at data better and from my knowledge of the markets ive noticed i could potentially make more going in at HT its just not something ive ever done
-
@martin-walker im very much a late goal trader, but if HT entry was your go to then as long as your getting on odds greater than your strike rate and commission then thats all trading is to be profitable. Might need to up stakes per trade or trade more but your essentially trying to get involved in a safer trade with HT entry than later in the half so odds are going to reflect that. The margin for error rises so the notion of safer trade doesnt always suit long term, but there are plenty of good HT entry traders, theres edges everywhere in trading.

@chris-osborne i usually do 60+ but as ive tracked everything aswell as that its showing excellent promise from half time.
Was looking for any tips from people who regularly do it. -
@martin-walker I have a look from time to time but the odds aren’t appealing to me

@matthew-biggins How difficult do you think it can be. May be they have the intern on this afternoon!
It’s a long day for them today with Melbourne Cup at 4am and something going on in America all night!
-
@alastair-todd second goal has just gone in, hopefully this wakes them up.

Someone at Betfair seems to have fallen asleep on the suspended button again
-
@martin-walker I haven’t got the minerals for it, think @Keith-Anderson is your man for this mate
-
Does anyone successfully back the next goal at HT
-
Quiet day today starting with the potential lay of monch. Nice odds.

I layed under 4.5 goals in the Leeds v Leicester match. I done this as Maddison was brought down in the box. There was quite a bit of time before the VAR review. Of course the penalty was given, and scored, but I wonder will Betfair take the money off me?!
Will take the money off you. Had this happen to me early in the season. Then settled it as a losing trade and took the stake off me as well
Money is till there. I got on just before the VAR review. I think I'm safe
-
@ben-dobie I have mine set to minimum 10 games overall so most havent reached that point yet, i think Italy, Germany etc have played maybe 3 or 4 games at home and the same away so almost there! I do hope to get some soon as the summer leagues will be traded a lot less as the season gets to the 'business' end

Anybody else slightly concerned that their 2nd half filter doesn't throw up many selections for the winter leagues Very rarely get anything from what are considered the top leagues i.e. England,Spain,Italy,Germany don't even get many Netherlands or France
I am a bit although most of them are only just reaching my games played criteria going to see what happens after the international break, may have to tweak a few things
-
@martin-futter Yeah I think that's it, just messed about with it and reduced to 5 unticked current season and it gave me a few more varied selections, not that I'll be using them but good to know they'll come up eventually.
-
@ben-dobie do you have min amount of games played on your filter? Europe won't have many games in midweek on Champions League weeks as the top leagues are discouraged by UEFA to do this.
-
@matt-wood You're probably right mate, suppose I'm just flapping a bit with the summer leagues and all that they bring coming to a close

@richard-latimer hi mate, sounds like a rough run on the ELO are you still carrying on with it?
Yeah. Glad I missed Kawasaki this morning. Think to be honest it's just the odd result. Pain is in losing on other stuff, missing winners and deciding not to escape after the first goal back. These are the the things that have dragged me back to a starting point. Not the selections themselves.
-
@ben-dobie Not seen any on mine yet but is a bit early days yet?
