@alan-steward cheers

@bottlabroon i got rid of the dutch 2nd league today based on results and the fact that prices are terrible

@alan-steward im not the best with spreadsheets so ive just gone through it all manually and deleted ones that arent performing. Strike rate has gone up and also the profit i would of made has risen.
Excellent, at least you're heading in the right direction mate

Ive had a league clear out and still have finland, serbia, slovakia, portugal that im on the fence with. Anyone got rid of these leagues
Important thing really though is prices to me. Prime example is the Dutch leagues which are great for goals but I can rarely seem to get any value there because the whole world knows they are high scoring. Portugal (particularly the B league) is very good for me purely because I can usually get decent prices.

@martin-walker I just set them as grade A or B based on my interpretation of quality and consistency of that league. Grade A outperformed grade B by a long way!
@Martin-Walker Lee's example here is also a good one and I guess it runs similar to my analysis... I just prefer teams that meet a specific criteria whilst holding an element of liquidity plus with my method I can drill down into the "A" leagues but with Lee's method here it's a very simple one to adopt

On a more serious note, I'd always avoided Russia, for various reasons.
However, I have a LTD filter- works a treat in Russian football.
Like, Alan says, horses for courses. Some leagues are great for FHG, others SHG, late goals, LTD etc.
You have to decide based on your data. -

Hi Martin, how do these leagues fair within your filter ie are they profitable?
Other filters may find one league profitable whereas another filter it's a loss...
I create what I call a "Smart Filter" from my main filters ie I have more than one trade within a filter so measure it differently. I check a leagues performance based on a specific trade.
Take SHG for example... I remove any league (regardless of team) which doesn't have an 80% strike rate... That league stays in the main filter and if it starts performing again I can always add it back into the sub filter.
Hope this helps

@martin-walker Portugal is on the fence for me very close to getting added the BL2 list - which you would think stands for black list but it's Bundesliga 2 list - this was the worst league for me ever!
Bundesliga 2 is a heartbreaker... Looks like it should be great, leads you to think it is wonderful, then dumps you in the gutter.

@lee-woodman i started with a very wide selection of leagues and im deleting some today. Strike rate has gone up about 5% so far
-
@martin-walker I donโt do any of those except Portugal, although I donโt have a lot of data to say itโs worth it or not
-
@ryan-carruthers think im gonna go ahead and get rid of it

A few more games than yesterday. I wont trade all of these, especially the split stake as most dont qualify, but the ones that do are pretty solid. As yesterday, the biggest thing for me is how the current scoreline & position reflects the intent i am seeing in-play, especially for LCS later in the SH. Brugge & Gent played in Europe mid-week so ill be more cautious with those 2 games in particular - lineups and tiredness being the 2 main factors

Keeping an eye on America Mineiro in Brazil for an over 2.5 trade and UTC Cajamarca in Peru for back home/ltd trade if the IP looks good.
IP stats not good enough to enter at America Mineiro and Cajamarca decided to down tools once they tempted me in.
Catch up tomorrow
