@john-hurst can only answer for myself obviously but I test on the master sheet regardless of inplay stats, so if a strategy makes money without them then I will often go in, unless something really puts me off.

What if you're looking at a SH goals trade where both teams score few first half goals and plenty of SH goals. How relevant are the FH stats at HT?

It can sometimes be a question of perceived value. I use IP stats for all my trades but will sometimes go in on borderline IP stats if I consider something exceptional value.

I have wondered this too. See some of the more seasoned traders doing it and I cannot figure out why. I always put it down to they have learned things I dont know yet.
