I think when BTC further develop it to include historical interrogation I will agree. I mainly use the Excel daily updated database to back test different strategies which is a current limitation for me. -
@bottlabroon Yeah sure they certainly have a good in-play stats software but didn't like the fact you couldn't download filters etc... I found I had to scrape them all which was a real pain... BTC is sooooo much better in my mind, just lacks that in-play stats software which I can get elsewhere anyway

@alan-steward
From discussions with various people I think there are only a very limited number of in-play data providers. 2 or 3?
So sites like Flashscores and Sofascore often use the same sources. The paid providers just add extra value to the same stats by presenting them in different formats.
I use Goal Profits but only because I use them for my stats/daily spreadsheet updates and it comes as part of my existing subscription and I like their last 10 minute ratings and green pressure indicators but the truth is I think you learn to use whatever you choose to your best advantage.
Same stats - just different ways of presenting it. -
@catalin-radu Yep with @bottlabroon here, in-play stats play a very important part of my trading too... I use "Trader Edge" I find it clean and I like their match hot or cold colour visuals (blue if game has gone cold or red if they feel the game is hot)
However as @bottlabroon rates Flashscores I also rate Sofascore and depending where you are in your trading journey should depend if you go down the free or paid route (free if your still learning in-play stats)... Best of luck

@catalin-radu
In play stats are the cornerstone of my trading but it really depends what you want.
If you want things like pressure ratings etc then the paid ones can have some value. If you only want things like shots, corners, attacks, posession etc then they are no better than say Flashscores. -
93.29% of games had at least 1 goal too. Kind of interesting!

Hi Guys. Done some spreadsheet tidying up today and the filter I've had cooking since mid September which was originally intended to be a "Lay U3.5 at K/O" filter and to find high scoring games has 150 results in currently and 75% of games had 1 or more FHG. Unfortunately I don't have the goal times, but if anyone wants the sheet and results ping me, happy to share.
The other highlights are as follows:

Hi guys, what is your opinion about sites that provides live in play stats? Like inplayguru, or inplaystats and soccer scanner?
-
@matthew-biggins I agree we play Liverpool next and as it is we have one fit first choice defender each at the moment both of whom are on international duty. Way itβs going it will be a 6-6 draw
-
Prefer to just take these days off, itβs quite rare that an international game holds my attention for very long.
Might stick the Ireland game on and pray none of our lads get any injuries.
Thatβs another thing, now weβre decent enough to have internationals in our squad. I dread international weeks when they come around, especially as we can ill afford any injuries on top of what we already have.

May be some opportunities later in the play offs if a team goes 1-0 down.
