@ryan-carruthers Out of interest I couldn't get your podcast link to work in yesterdays email... You may want to look into that as targeted new members to be might not be bothered to go to the main website to access it

@alan-steward Stupid, didn't one of the German players say something about how FIFA and UEFA aren't bothered about the players just using them as a cash cow?!
Can't say I heard that quote mate but yes, surely the only gain from having the friendlies is to line the pockets of the Governing bodies... I can wait for my trading but some clubs will struggle with overplayed international players... I'm sure they could easily have put these games on the back burner!

Why are we even having international friendlies lol
My thoughts exactly... Put pressure on a piled up season just for friendlies!!!
-
@chris-osborne Agreed, it's made the USA v Wales as a friendly?! What's that all about!
-
i know its only a friendly and i dont really take much notice usually but seeing france 2 down to finland at half time, the team isnt too bad with subs coming off the bench should have a couple more goals in it? france 4.6 Over 3.5 (1.65 at present)
-
@chris-osborne Yea I can imagine, I'm fed up here and we have not had it nearly as bad
-
@matt-wood A lot of people have had enough here, we we’re the first place to have an extended lockdown back at the end of June and never completely came out of it. Numbers we’re doing ok until the last couple of weeks.
-
@chris-osborne Yea they might not look too great
-
@matt-wood that’s the other side of Leicester to me.
With Diwali this week, I’m dreading our COVID numbers next week
-
@chris-osborne @James-Woodroffe
Thanks both, I am certainly making progress, but its very odd not panicking about losing money
@Chris-Osborne was over your way this morning, Wigston/Countersthorpe...not a whole lot of social distancing going on there!
-
@matt-wood nice post Matt sounds like your making progress on the mindset side of things.
If it’s any consolation, your not alone in having a rough week last week, I had a schocker but similar to you I’m not overly worried
-
@matt-wood good to hear mate and it’s also a good place to be where worry that you’re 6 points down if you’re gaining in confidence and things like the clogs moving in the right direction you’ll make those 6 points up quicker than before when it’s only natural that one would tend to freak out a little.

Evening all hope everyone is good
I meant to post this on Monday but got distracted by family events.
I have had a poor couple of weeks lately, just about 6pts in the red (still in slight profit overall). Some of this is down to obvious mistakes that I NEED to cut out, such as over trading, and I am working on these. Some of it is a mystery to me but I am learning the reasons why and I am sure I will get there.
In the past I would have been furious about the loss of money, in anything not just trading, but I am really not taking the 6pts to heart. I believe this is down to me starting to have genuine confidence that long term this will work out for me. I am starting to really understand the long term mindset of trading a strategy and a strange sense of calm comes with this.
Sorry to be a bit rambly but I think in the last week or so some things are really starting to click into place in my head, not sure what they are yet but I can feel the big cogs turning slowly
To this end I wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who has answered my stupid questions directly and also to everyone on the site generally as all the conversations that go on, as well as the blogs, really help my understanding of things. I have to say, along with the software, the community and sense of 'togetherness' that is on this forum generally is fantastic (a bit hippy, sorry ).
Bottom line, loads left to learn but making huge strides lately due to everyone on here.

Liverpool losing Gomez oooooo thats a loss and a bit that! Especially there next game is against Leicester!
Forget defending doubt we have four fit defenders between us!
Fofana pulled out of France u21 squad today as well although don’t think it’s serious.
This international break is already ridiculous in view of current global Covid situation and players travelling all over the world who knows who will be playing next weekend.

@john-hurst I feel your pain mate
