Considering the circumstances I drank way too much, slept too little and threw up too much haha!

Happy new year everyone. It was so wild that I lost track of time doing nothing exciting. Wasn’t until the fireworks started at midnight I realised the time, although why they we’re happening in tier 4 who knows

The sooner we can get back to normal football and all sports with fans and no bubbles the better

I agree with Martin, I think COVID had a huge impact on the first half goal market, teams aren’t worried about playing at certain grounds, results all over the place they aren’t worried about teams as much as they used to be I feel.

Just reviewed my last three months trades, despite my fondness of first half goals, they are just bleeding my bank down so i'm packing it up for a bit. Going to keep tracking and hopefully find a more useful way of using the data in 2021. Good to go over everything and see how i've changed my approach (mainly simplifying everything!) and have a birds eye view of any bad habits I can nip in the bud.

Gave up on the first half goal market a while back had exactly the same problem mate , recently started a late 2nd half goal filter hopefully will have more luck with this.

I feel like post Covid (Vaccine) the first half goal will become good again, suspended it a while back myself as I mentioned on the FHG strategy page. No doubt in my mind the virus has had an impact on this market and how lively games are in the first half, I wonder if a lack of a crowd leads to less intensity and effort (subconsciously) in the first half where going in at 0-0 is not an issue for most teams as still all to play for after that.

I gave up on mine months ago. However, it became a pretty useful SHG and U2.5 indicator.
I'm sure your FHG filter will be useful for something else. Keep the data and play with it a little.

Many thanks for your kind messages. The hospital have said that I can pick my Dad up tomorrow and bring him home. Multiple scans (CT & Ultrasound) are just being double checked and he'll have to go back in a few weeks for possible surgery.Thankfully he's looking and sounding better.

May I wish you all a Happy New Year

No captain, about 7 or 8 players. Been a disaster.

Mind you, I blame the Chinese for my fantasy football hiccups this weekend haha. Not really, I blame Covid rather than a nation of people, the vast majority of, had nothing to do with it haha!

Not to keep bringing this guy up but I’ve just been looking down his Twitter and he just seems to be a really bad trader. Take this on the below link for example.

Blaming Koeman for playing a weakened side but surely any successful trader would factor team news in as part of their pre-game research. There’s nothing wrong with still thinking that a second string would have enough to get the job done but a) the price would need to be in a favourable position to reflect it and b) if you go in and it loses, that decision is on you and you alone.

If it wasn’t for the screenshots I’d actually be convinced this was a parody account.

Well of course. Everyone knows or should know that anything can lose regardless. Could have 11 Messis out there and could still end 0-0 haha

@stuart-capstick Think I read somewhere else that this guy inherited a large sum of money and has been trading with it... You read many things online and wouldn't trust most of it lol

You see that makes more sense. No way can this guy have cut his teeth trading and built up to a point of staking 20k, the massive staking has to have come from outside of trading
